Felix wondered if perhaps that was the best way for the Knights of Chemois to meet Commander Henry. He bore the appearance of someone who was working hard for his dukedom.
The knights who had just returned with Henry from the forests above the Duke's Tower wore full armor and there wasn't a trace of their skin. Unlike in Hydrogia, the monsters of the north were unpredictable and they thought it was best to do it as a precaution.
Henry wore more gilded armor than the other knights so he was easy to pick out but his armor wasn't why they were staring. All the knights were covered by monster blood in varying degrees but Henry was the most soaked and his helmet had been covered. They looked worse than if they had fought in a war.
A few of the knights had already made their way back inside but the ones left had removed their helmets and stared with lowered brows at the sight before them.
