Chapter 21: Those comments

"..." Liu Zemin looks at her with his brow raised.

Wei Xiaohui blushes, "You don't have many clothes with bright colors. And look at this shirt. It looks so nice!" From cleaning his clothes, Wei Xiaohui saw what colors Liu Zemin's clothes were. Black, gray, and black. Those were the only colors in his closet.

There was no color change besides those two.

"...Fine." Liu Zemin wasn't going to complain. However, he turns to Wang Xiang, "What's the catch?" There has to be something in return for him. There is no free lunch in this world.

Wang Xiang sighs, "You're too keen, kid. I just want that brat over there to do some more photo shoots with our clothing. In return, we'll give you exclusive clothing from our brand."

Both sides would be getting benefits from each other. There were no drawbacks.

Thinking about it, Liu Zemin tells him, "Let's talk about the details some other time." He wasn't going to rush this. They'll need a long talk to figure out a fair contract.

"Tsk! Kid, you are too cautious!" Wang Xiang didn't think he would be so cautious.

"Thank you very much." Liu Zemin smiles. But Wang Xiang spat that!

Liu Zemin and Wang Xiang decided on a time for them to discuss the contract. After that, the two left the building. Wei Xiaohui walked with a hop in her step. She looks like a cute bunny,

"Zemin, did you see the look on Shao Nuying's face?" Liu Zemin nods. During the whole photoshoot, Shao Nuying had a smug expression as she got her picture taken. It was like she was looking down on everybody else.

Wei Xiaohui's grin turns wider. "Just wait for the release. I'm sure it's going to be explosive." She's waiting for Shao Nuying's expression to explode once the magazine is released.

And it was. The pictures were posted a few days afterward on WX social media page. And that caused an explosion!

My goddess is so beautiful! She is the perfect model for WX!

Did you see her in the white one-piece? She looks so divine and beautiful! I want to know what she is thinking too.

Why is Shao Nuying in this picture as well?! She's making the photo look so bad!

I know, right! If big sis Wei was the only person there, it would have been ten times better!

Like the way she dressed is so weird. Do you see how smug she was as she posed in those clothes?

Especially that red dress one. It was the worst! It doesn't match her at all!

And those poses as well! Stop acting sexy. It's just wrong!

"Hahaha!" Wei Xiaohui was laughing her ass off at home. The comments were too funny. Liu Zemin walks into the room and puts two cups of coffee down.

"Those comments are just wow." Liu Zemin shakes his head.

Wei Xiaohui makes a mischievous smile, "It just goes to show how good of an eye people have." The majority of the comments were bashing on Shao Nuying.

Wei Xiaohui expected this to happen.

As Wei Xiaohui grabbed her clothes, she was also checking what kinds of clothes Shao Nuying would choose as well.

When she saw it, Wei Xiaohui just shook her head.

The clothes Shao Nuying choose didn't match her at all. Shao Nuying was cute. But that was it. That was the only thing she could do when modeling.

So when she chose beautiful clothes, Wei Xiaohui didn't need to make a move. Shao Nuying just screwed herself over.

However, it wasn't enough.

Shao Nuying had gone over the top with posing too! Wei Xiaohui was trying to hold it in when she saw that. The pose was too over the top, making it look unrealistic.

The more Shao Nuying kept doing it, the more people would be able to find flaws. That's why Wei Xiaohui didn't pose so dramatically. That way, Shao Nuying's errors shined more.

"I bet all that flattery in the company made her narcissism grow." Wei Xiaohui received a lot of praise in the company as well. However, she never took it as a reason for her to act prideful.

Instead, it was fuel for her to improve even more.

Seeing people praise her, Wei Xiaohui had to keep their expectations high as well.

"But it's so weird tho. Anybody could tell that those clothes don't work well." Liu Zemin didn't understand why Shao Nuying wanted to wear them.
