Chapter 1Beginnings

It was in the middle of a harsh winter in the outskirts of the kingdom of Highshield, a young couple were slowly walking through the forest picking berries for them to eat. These people were a Grandmaster Mage, and his wife a Grandmaster Swordswoman.

The man was tall with a rigid frame, a clean-cut beard and his blond hair tied into a ponytail behind his head, he had misty grey eyes you could get lost into. The woman had red hair also tied into a ponytail behind her head, she had a round cute face with piercing blue eyes.

They trekked through the snow every footstep producing a fresh new mark in the snow with a thud sound. They continued walking through the unforgiving snowy land, until they heard a quite unusual sound, it was the sound of a baby crying.

"Hey Ellie? You hearing that?" The man questioned.

"Yes, yes I am." She confirmed.

The couple hurried over to where the sound was coming from their footsteps crunching in the sound as they tumbled around, and before them laid a boy in a basket with many layers on, bawling its eyes out.

"John?" Ellie asked as she picked the basket up, turning her head to meet John's gaze.

"What is it Ellie?" John answered already understanding what she was going to say.

"Can we keep him?"

"But can't you sense what he is."

"So? That just means that we need to just raise him right."

John deliberated for a while with Ellie sending a puppy face towards him, before deciding, "Fine, I guess we can."

"We'll call him Ell"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Twelve years later we see a young boy facing off against his mother in a spar with their swords. These two were fighting in a grassy plain in front of their cottage, the particular place they were fighting in looked very old, which you could see from how the grass was trampled and thrashed.

The young boy had shaggy black hair, and red eyes that seemed to pierce through everything in their way. This young boy was fighting his mother. This boy was Ell. Ell was holding a simple great sword in his hands, and was pushing back his mother, Ellie, using his strength.

(https://www.dreamstime.com/two-handed-sword-great-sword-white-background-sword-berserker-vector-illustration-design-game-two-handed-sword-image121392030 Damn it was hard to find a picture for this, all of the swords I find online are so goddamn weird, why?)

Ellie was fighting against him with two short swords, using them to block his strikes in a crisscross manner.

You could see the smile on his face as he closed in on his mother, he swung his blade at his mother once again, he was swinging his blade with such speed you wouldn't expect from a child wielding a great sword.

Ellie, blocked his strikes one last time, and in the split second that she blocked the strike, she pushed Ell's Great sword back with her short swords and made him stagger backwards, she instantly closed in on this opportunity and flashed forwards putting the tip of her short sword to his neck.

"DAMMIT!" The boy shouted, "Just once! I want to beat you just once." However, while he was saying this he was still smiling as he could see how much further he could go.

"Never let your guard down when in a battle, Ell. Just because you are winning, doesn't mean the enemy doesn't have a chance of winning." His mother said staring at him.

His mother departed from the scene, entering the old run-down cottage, leaving the young boy screaming at the sky.

As soon as she entered, she could hear the voice of her husband standing in the entrance, shaking his head saying, "What have we done to that boy Ellie? I swear we have made him into a battle maniac."

"John, it's fine, being a battle maniac helps his growth. Ell's only a 12 year old kid and he's already inherited most my knowledge and nearly beat me in swordsmanship. And he's already learnt how to use Ki." She said looking out the window seeing the boy training once again endlessly swinging his sword.

---------------------------------------------------

The next day we see Ell preparing to face Ellie again, they both get into a stance, their sharp piercing eyes pointing at each other. In a moment Ell had already charged at Ellie.

Ell shouted as he swung his sword at his mother. As soon as their swords met Ell smiled and Ellie's swords were destroyed and cut through.

"YEEEEESSSSSS." Ell screamed, "I did it! Can I go out to the capital city and fight more strong people mum?"

"Fine, fine." His mother sighed.

"YESSS." Ell shouted with glee as we hurriedly ran into the distance.

As they watched their son go John asked his wife, "Why did you go easy on him? You know he has *that* bloodline inside of him."

"So, you noticed that?" Ellie replied with a shocked expression.

"How could I not? You only used one hundredth of your power!* You also didn't even us any of your skills! And on top of all of that you used such poorly made swords today that it was a miracle that the pair lasted for a minute against Ell!"

*(equivalent to a beginner swordsman, power levels are split by 10x for each level)

(Realised this could get a bit confusing for people when reading back on it, so basically what is happening is that she's using the average power a beginner swordsman has, but her using that power is still not equivelent to making her a beginner swordsman. If I had to rate her level when using that amount of power, I would say around Advanced (high).

(Also when you see (high) (middle) (low) next to a class it means that how far through the class they are.)

Armipotent

This is a work of fiction, any names, characters, stories or events, are fictitious! (Even the country in the story is just the author's fantasy as the author never visited those countries in the story) Armipotent is an archaic adjective meaning "strong in battle." Basically, it refers to someone who is physically tough in war. Originally, it was used to refer to the Roman god of war, Mars. ===================== Tang Shaoyang, an orphan who dropped out of the middle school to fight on the street as he found out school was useless for a penniless orphan like him. Tang Shaoyang dropped out of his school, fighting on the street, and made a name for himself. Berserker Tang from Youyouliucun. Afterward, Dragon Wing triad recruited him and everything was good for him. Even though the public deemed him as a tumor of society, Tang Shaoyang was having a decent life. Until one day, everything changed as an absurd and strange game started. "... Game starts! Stage one: Survival for The Fittest!" After the game started, zombies appeared out of nowhere. ... Ding! "You have killed 1000 zombies less than 24 hours since the game started! You gained 3 Talents!" Dong! "You may choose 3 Talents! please choose carefully!" Tang Shaoyang held his chin and mused what Talent he had to choose. "With Zombies appear everywhere, I need an infinite strength... this is one, I still need to choose 2 Talents more..." Then a lewd smile formed on his lips. "I want an infinite strength, charm and charisma to conquer women, and the last one, I want to upgrade my **** so I can please my women!" After saying this, Tang Shaoyang laughed aloud. "Hahaha, there's no way such talent exists... ehhhhh?!!!" Ding! Dong! "3 Talents are consumed! You have been granted Divine Body! Good Luck, Gamer Tang Shaoyang!" Tang Shaoyang immediately checked the detail of Divine Body. After a brief silence, he muttered unbelievably. "Such Talents really exist..." Primordial Villain with a Slave Harem

Quinlan, a simple office worker finds himself transmigrated to an extremely dangerous fantasy land as a level 1 Commoner with nothing to his name but his wits - and a unique gift that accompanied his teleportation. No one in Thalorind could have predicted that this unassuming arrival would one day rise to the top, redefining the very meaning of the term 'power'... And that he may have achieved said result by joining a criminal organization and clawing his way through its ranks. In the beginning, Quinlan was painfully weak and alone but thanks to his severe trust issues, joining a team was... hard. However, he soon noticed that a lot of people have collars around their necks in this world... People that couldn't exactly betray him. Follow Quinlan's journey as he grows in strength, amasses wealth, fights to the death, and meets lovely ladies. ... Discord: https://discord.gg/bjunEkswQ3 ... After writing over 750 chapters, here’s what you should know: 1. About the beginning: The early chapters are a bit rough. I'm not saying that it's horrible, in fact, I believe the story to be very enjoyable right from chapter 1. But, at the end of the day, this is my first original novel, and I stumbled in some areas, especially with the MC's attitude. He's too reserved and occasionally too "simpy" with the first female lead. However, the MC grows into a confident, powerful, and composed figure. No long-term cringe. He becomes the kind of MC you want to root for. 2. Quinlan’s morality: He’s not a cruel, sadistic villain. Most of the time, he won't even be acting like a real villain, only when pushed to the limit. Meaning he won't torture puppies or civilians for fun while cackling manically. However, he’s greedy, shameless, and opportunistic. If the lives of his loved ones are at stake and he can only save them by burning a city with innocents inside down, he’ll do it. He's ruthless toward strangers when necessary, but doesn't delight in cruelty. 3. Regarding slaves: Yes, Quinlan becomes a slave master. However, he treats all his women—free or enslaved—with care and respect. 4. More than smut: Every love interest has a real story, a real presence. No girl will be left behind. As of Chapter 750, Quinlan has 7 lovers and a few more "in-development" love interests. This is not a "catch them all" story, adding one girl every 20 chapters. I prefer harems made up of girls with richly developed characters over giant harems full of shallow ladies. Quality over Quantity. 5. Balanced storytelling: My aim was to create a work where romance, action, and slice-of-life blend together naturally. There’s high-stakes action, power progression, romantic developments, comedy, and some chill downtime to let both the characters and the readers breathe. 6. Weak-to-Strong Progression: Quinlan will become OP. But he rises slowly, not overnight. His journey will hopefully feel earned. 7. Not every female character listed in the fandom is a love interest: Some women are important to the plot but are not part of the harem or a planned to be, such as his two mothers. 8. No Yuri. No NTR. That's it, thank you for taking your chance on my novel! I'll make a promise to you, showing how much I believe you'll love the novel if you get over the somewhat bumpy beginning! If you read 750 chapters and hate the story even after investing so much time into it, then you may burn me alive!

Young Master's PoV: Woke Up As A Villain In A Game One Day

"Now you see?" she shouted in a tone that was somewhere between annoyance and disappointment. "You can’t outsmart Scrients! They’re the most intelligent beings across the two realms!" "You’re right," I muttered, averting my gaze with a solemn sigh. "I made a mistake. I was arrogant to think a mere human like me could fool them." —BOOM!! "...Wh-What was that?" "Hmm? I’m not sure. Maybe you should go and ask the most intelligent beings across the two realms. Oh wait! You can’t. I killed them all." --- My name is Samael Kaizer Theosbane. On the last day of high school, I got into a fight with a kid I used to bully. It was a stupid and pointless scuffle. And in the middle of it, I tripped and smacked my head on a rock. That’s when the memories came flooding in… Memories of a different life. Memories of another world. Suddenly, everything made a twisted kind of sense. I realized two things. First: I was inside a game I used to play in my past life. Second: I was a villain. A villain! Not the cool, mysterious, tragic kind either! No, I was the worst kind of cliché — a spoiled, insufferable, and arrogant young master. The sort you'd find in those poorly written fantasy stories. You know the type! The one everyone hates. The one the hero would beat into the ground to show everyone just how strong and righteous he is. Yeah. I was that guy! My fate was to be a stepping stone for the main characters, be manipulated by a Demon Prince, and die a dog's death. And the hero? The hero was the same kid I’d been bullying all this time. The one I just got into a fight with. He was supposed to be the savior of this damned world. A world teetering on the edge of destruction, beset by wars, calamities, and a grim future that only I knew. And waiting at the end of it all was the final antagonist. The unbeatable nightmare. …The Spirit King. But could I even make it to the end? Could I really survive in a game where defeat was the only certainty? A game that had now become my reality? “Ah, fuck it.” I had no idea if I could. But I sure as hell was going to try. Extorting extras, manipulating main characters, altering the story to my advantage, stealing the hero’s cheat items, killing villains long before they could become threats — nothing was beneath me. Would the main characters be affected by my actions? Excellent! Would the story change? Even better! All I cared about was me. My survival. My life. My choices. “I’ll live this life with no regrets.” ...But as I soon discovered, fate wasn't so easily changed. And the price of rewriting your destiny was steep. ========== Discord Server: https://discord.gg/VjFQtDUaTR
