Chapter sixty five

Arias pov

Dad was very happy after I told him that Steven and I are now together, Selena too was over joyed knowing that Steven is now going to be her dad.

Everything has now fallen to place and feels perfect I have never been more happier than I am now. We decided to discuss the wedding after Kendall returned, which is today.

I finished work as soon as possible and headed back home. The happy faces of everyone greeted me once I walked into the living room, everyone had gathered eagerly anticipating the prepartions.

" Oh my God Aria, see how much you are glowing and blushing" Kendall teased as I sat next to Steven. He instinctively put his army around my shoulder.

" You aren't serious kends, now that you have returned and have rested can we discuss the wedding?" I asked diverting back to the main topic.

" Sure enough, you people should tell us what you want and how you want the wedding to happen" dad said, he probably was the most excited of all.

" We want a small wedding, with only family and friends and maybe a few business partners. This wedding is for and about us, so we don't want to make a big deal out of it, we want to be able to enjoy it peacefully" Steven said.

" All that is okay with us, but when is the wedding" Kendall asked her smile from ear to ear. " Next month, the 27 of August" we blurted out at once. Everyone looked at us ans we looked at eachother before laughing.

" What happened on the 27 August?" Dad asked. " It's the first day we both met" I replied. Everybody just replied with an 'oh'

" What of the engagement" Joseph asked.

" There would be no engagement, but yes, I have a surprise for Aria, Kendall, I want you to get Aria dressed tomorrow, I would tell you where to take her" Steven said to Kendall.

" Wait what, what is it" I asked. " If I tell you it won't be a surprise, so calm down my tigresses and get ready tomorrow, okay" Steven said rubbing his fingers on my shoulder comfortable.

And then I felt like throwing a tantrum which I did, " not fair, so you gonna let me be anxious all day waiting to see what it is" I said and playfully hit his lap. " Relax, I can't risk running my surprise by telling you my plan" Steven said laughing a bit.

" Come on mommah, you always say surprises are not meant to be shared, why are you throwing a tantrum about the same now" Selena chipped in.

" Tell her" Steven said as he lift her and placed her on his lap. " May no one jinx your happiness, you are a perfect family, stay happy always" dad said.

" Amen" we all said. We had dinner and went back to our rooms, I was eagerly anticipating my surprise.

The next day, no work for me, Kendall said Steven had specifically told her not to allow me to go to work, and he would handle the rest. In the mean time we go to the first place in his list.

It was a small salon at old town, which looks secluded, and to my surprise Steven was there all set with his materials and dressed up as a hair salonist.

It was so fun, with the music, steven doing my hair, he is a pro. " You never told me you worked in a women salon before" I teased. " Because I never did, I learnt it three days ago, specifically for you" he said as he washed my hair.

We first washed my hair, dry blow it, oil it and then styled it, he also did my manicure and pedicure, it was so relaxing and exciting. And by the side Joseph was also doing Kendall's hair and nails.

I felt so happy and special, it was a different kind of feeling when your lover does something so special and thoughtful for you.

Next after the salon, Kendall took me back home where a beautiful flowing simple white dress beach dress with subtle sheen and a delicate red belt that cinch the waist was placed in my room.

I was to change into that at 6 after I ate and sleep to relax myself.

I stared at my reflection in the mirror, the clothing, and my beachy wavy hair framed my face and a piece of diamond stud earrings.

Kendall took me to the car and blindfolded me, I wasn't allowed to wear any shoes. We drove for quite a while, before I was asked to alight the car.

Feeling the Sandy soil underneath my feet's that was so cool and soothing told me that it was a beach.

The sound of soft melodious song filled my ears and the sweet aroma of the salty beach wafted my nose.

When I let the blindfold loose I was mesmerized by the beautiful sunset that was reflected by the water. He beautiful decorations of white curtains, rose petals scattered on the ground and beautiful white and red roses made me smile.

Steven emerged from the side humming to the music, he was dressed in a beige linen shirt that was slightly undone to show a hint of his chest paired with white linen pants.

He pulled me to dance with him and the strong wind blowing only added to the romantic moment.

After the dance Steven went on one knee and bought out a ring from his pocket. It was a tear drop diamond ring and a letter was engraved on it, A&S.

"Will you marry me Ms Aria Thayer, will you fill the gap between my fingers and complete my home. Would you make me the happiest and luckiest man in the world, please marry me Aria and I promise to keep you happy till the end of time.

Make me your safe place and let me make you my home. To me you are more precious than this world and life itself, please let me into your world otherwise I would perish seeking for you" Steven said and my heart wanted to burst of happiness.

" Yes, I will marry you" I said with tears and smile. He put the ring on my ring finger and stood up to hug me.
