Thor watched as Ragnar performs the Blood Eagle on Jarl Borg, who endures the torturous, horrific death without crying out, proving himself worthy of Valhalla.

Thor also made sure to keep an eye on King Horik,the man was really sneaky.But Thor was just one step ahead of him.

As Gyda,Thor,Lagertha and Bjorn were discussing about their return.As King Horik walked towards them and stood next to Thor and Lagertha said"We must prepare to go to Wessex.Obviously, we must leave soon."

Lagertha sighed and replied"Yes,but we have to return to my territories.We will have to prepare the ships soon."

King Horik was hoping they would join them and asked"How much time?"

Bjorn answered"Just enough time. No more, no less, King Horik."

Just then an servant came running and said"My Lady,Ragnar has a new child."

Bjorn questioned"A son?"

The Servant nodded and replied"Yes."

King Horik walking towards Bjorn smiled and said"I must congratulate your father. It is never a bad day to have a son. The gods cannot stop offering him their blessings."

But everything wasn't good as the child was born with weak bones, his legs twisted and seemingly broken

As Aslaug had been giving Ragnar warnings of things to come. Aslaug had warned that they should not have sex for at least three days, knowing of a prophecy that threatened the prospective child's health, but Ragnar insisted. Because Ragnar did not heed her warnings,

So with time his nickname "Ivar the Boneless" will be heard everywhere.

This caused Ragnar to be disappointed and was getting drunk as Thor sat next to him.Ragnar spoke up"Asluag doesn't understand that our son is a cripple,his life here would be miserable.No matter how,he will die anyway. What is the point of pretending? If we were wolves, or even pigs, this poor, weak runt would be discarded."

Thor sighed and replied"Yes his life will not be great,but think about it what if he inherits your sharp mind?"

Ragnar was now in deep thought and then said"Normally we let such babies die for their own good."

Thor nodded and replied"What if he was healed?"

Ragnar hearing this was slightly shocked asked"Are you really serious about that?"

Thor nodded and replied"Yes,but remember he will be healed,but chances are he would have a slight limp."

Ragnar was okay with it and went to Aslaug who was angry at the suggestion and screamed"My son has a great destiny and you won't change that."

Ragnar glared at her and said"I don't care if this gives my son a better life so be it."

Ragnar forcefully took Ivar from Aslaug and went to Thor who was waiting with Frigga.Ragnar bowed slightly infront of her,he felt power and authority radiating from her.Also he had already guessed Thor,Loki,Val and Sig are god's as their presence and powers told him that.While he was doubtful at first,but soon believed it.

Frigga upon seeing the the child became more intrested and said"This child will make you more proud than any of you other children."

Ragnar was disbelief hearing this and asked"Is he the one?"

Frigga smiled at Ragnar and replied"Yes,he will inherit you strong mind and if you want I will tell Loki to mentor him."

Ragnar was really grateful spoke up"Thank you All mother."

Frigga healed Ivar, who will be able to walk like any normal boy.But this did cause slight issue with Aslaug,who would decide to focus her attention on Sigurd.But again that would also fail since Sigurd who was rebellious would hate his mother's constant attempts to control him thus causing rift between them.
