This generation of the Empire's leadership once again placed the hope of civilization's survival on their trust in Harrison Clark and Star.
Of course, this was a manifestation of extreme legalism and a tightrope-walking risky behavior.
If one day Star betrayed them or was controlled by enemies, the system Human Civilization relied upon for survival would become extremely fragile and might even collapse.
In some sense, this was a detriment to the Republic, but the leadership of the Empire at the time decided to take this bold step in the face of extraordinary circumstances.
The leaders of this generation knew that perhaps they would be labeled as butchers, executioners, anti-human criminals, tools of artificial intelligence, and thoughtless human-shaped machines in the future.
But the leadership, represented by Dylan Mitchell, did not care.
They even looked forward to being scolded.
