|3rd POV|
Donodos smiles a little as he looks at the map in front of him. This will be the day he attacks the northern island of Lys and takes all the goods in that place. He looks out the windows and sees the fog covering their movement.
They should arrive before the sun goes up, the perfect time to do some raiding.
So far, their ships have managed to set sail without alerting the people on the islands. He can already think of many things he wants to take from those islands, and among them is the pleasure slave he left on that island after she disfigured her face from a kitchen accident.
Not only that, but he is already eyeing the thing that lets the people on this island grow food to the point of becoming the ones feeding Braavos this winter. His family is one of the few merchant families that get affected by Lunaran's monopoly over food in the narrow sea, and he does not like it.
Because of this, he needed to sell the food to the Slaver Bays, which cut his profit significantly. However, if he can get the reason why the Lunaran family can harvest that amount of food in a short amount of time, he can imagine the amount of profit he can get.
Not only will his family cut costs in food production, but the one monopolizing the food market will be gone, restoring the original price. His family will be the ones controlling the food market from now on.
"My lord"
He snaps from his thoughts and says.
"What?"
"We are about to arrive, my lord."
"I see. Come inside and help me put on my armor."
A second later, his bed slave walks inside his room and helps him put on his best armor. It was made from the best steel to protect him from danger. After a few minutes, he leaves his room and sees that they are nearing the shore.
When his ship lands, the unsullied army he brings with him gets down the ship and creates a formation. They are not the best soldiers, but their fearlessness and discipline are what make them dangerous. And the most important thing is that they are the perfect soldiers to protect him.
After the last person leaves the boats, he grins, takes a deep breath, and shouts.
"Attack!"
Donodos takes the war horn and blows it up.
A second later, they all started to run deeper into the land from the beach. As they got deeper, they could see the fog disappear, and what greeted them in front of them was not what they thought it was. They thought it was a small city with no wall, but a long wall and four towers made of cobblestones were in front of them.
And standing on top of the wall and towers are Viserys and his people.
Viserys looks at his enemy with a frown and shouts.
"Fire!"
A second later, a rain of arrows flies out of the walls. When the arrows hit them, the others can see their friend's bodies combust from the arrow. The sight of their friends catching on fire makes them panic, but Donodos quickly takes action and shouts.
"Don't panic! Don't panic! Charges! Quickly take over their walls! They are weak without their bow and arrows, and they are few in number. As long as we can take over the wall, we will win!"
That regains some morale, and the people start moving forward. They can see the wall is only a long wall instead of a circular wall. They are divided into two groups to take one of each corner of the walls.
Even with the power of the enchanted bow, the one holding the bow is an amateur and cannot hit an enemy who is running for their life. Because of this, many of the enemies manage to get through their hail of arrows and reach the wall.
However, sadly for them, when they reach the edge of the wall, they see a line of fully equipped warriors waiting for them, each holding a shield tower. Thinking that they can breach the formation, the mercenaries charge forward, weapon in hand.
However, the warriors did not move an inch and managed to hold their ground against the mercenaries.
Seeing his men manage to hold the ground, Viserys points his bow at the enemies near him and shouts.
"Fire!"
Another hail of arrows hits the mercenaries who try to break the formation, and not even waiting for the second volley, they start to run away, seeing that their only chance is gone. Viserys takes out a war horn when he sees the mercenaries running away from them and then blows it.
A second after he blows the horn, a small number of cavalry come out behind the building and start charging at the enemies who are running away.
No one is spared, as Ser Willem leads the cavalry and sweeps through the running mercenaries like a whirlwind of death.
As for Donodos, he, the sailors, and a group of slaves who stay with him are already running back to his ship and leaving behind the unsullied to defend him while the ship prepares to leave. However, they did not know that a group of people had already sneaked into the boat while he was busy looking at his mercenaries charging at the wall.
They are wearing leather armor that is dyed black and enchanted to make them move faster underwater and hold their breath for longer.
While Donodos wipes the sweat from his forehead, he notices his ship is not moving. He is about to shout at his slaves before he sees a group of people he does not know pointing their swords at him.
Before he can even say something, one of them appears in front of him and swings his sword at Donodos. A second later, a head rolled on the ground. The man picks the head and looks at Ser Willem, already breaking the formation of the unsullied using his diamond-armored warhorse.
Once their formation is broken, Ser Willem and his cavalry unit easily kill the unsullied one by one. This is the weakness of the unsullied. They are strong in number, but once you break their formation, they are nothing but a weak man holding a spear.
It did not take long before they killed all the unsullied to the last man. Ser Willem looks at the ship and sees one of the shadow units holding Donodos' head in the air. Ser Willem grins and raises his sword, and shouts.
"Victory!"
