Chapter 22:

Somewhere:

Lisa has been out for an hour now, the witch managed to stop the pain and he cut off the one thing that was linking her to Nick and the baby.

"Her sight?" The man asks the traditional witch, he loves his daughter a lot, but he is still angry at what she did in the past

"Her sight is not important right now, but I'll try coming up with a spell to fix it later"

"If you fix her sight, will the baby also be able to see?"

"Does she want the baby to see?"

"Look that is for her to decide. I just know that she is in this mess because of her greed and for taking someone else's mate. I just want her to be okay and get the hell out of my life", the man has so much bitterness

"She did a very bad thing by trying to separate true mates, the baby that is born now will come for her, he will cause misfortunes to her. Dare try separating what is destined to be together and you shall face dire consequences. Now all I did was try and ease her pain because trust me she was meant to die tonight but at least I have saved her life."

"You owed me a favor and my daughter needed me so yeah it is fair. Thank you, now I will leave, if she wakes up tell her to never contact me again, nor my wife. Just keep her here for hiding out from the royal family and when everything is settled then she must leave. Are we clear?"

"But she can't stay here, there are witches here and we are not best of friends right now"

"Figure it out you are a witch, do a spell. I am out of here", and the old man with a trimmed beard left, he did care for his daughter, but he thought ignoring her will make her see her mistake and ask for forgiveness, but he has made this hard for her

Jason:

"Sir, are you going to sit here and watch, or are you going to help? Our pack is under attack, and you are the king, go and speak to your people", I don't listen to everything she says, and I rush straight to the borders. Everyone is fighting, there are many vampires dead down and this is a bloody fight. My fangs come out and I shout a stop, everyone stops and bows down

"What the hell is going on here?" Damn my voice just went dominant like a king.

"Jason, your grandson has to pay for his father's mistake. We are here for revenge"

"An innocent kid? Who told you about them? Who fucking told you?" they shiver in fear and some steps back

I walk before them and grip the first one on his neck, I can snap it in a second

"Who fucking told you about them?" I ask again, he starts coughing, I look straight into his eyes and see everything, how they were to do, how this woman wants revenge because my idiotic son killed her mate. Damn Ryan, you are really shit!

"Now go back and never put your foot in this pack", with I snap his neck and he goes limp

"Antonio, can you do me the favour and erase their memory, they were forced into doing this", I say and walk back to the pack house, but then before I could make my way upstairs, I am shoved into a wall and the scent of my mate washes over me

Damn James!

"You made that, right?" I know he is talking about the food

"Why would I make that? I was outside saving your pack, now please leave me before anyone could see us together", I try pushing him away, but he only stops me by sniffing my neck making me snarl. He is making me weak.

"Stop lying, only you know how to make it taste better"

"Leave me alone James I need to go to my wife"

"You are not going anywhere, until my son gives birth to our grandson", stop coming near me, you bastard.

"Move away from me James. I don't want you near me, move away"

"You are my mate, so I'll always be near you"

"Yes, your sorrowful un-rejectable true mate. Oh James you stay the hell away from me. I am done with you, I am done with us", shit! I am breaking down right now

I shouldn't be breaking down at this moment like this. I shouldn't, but he needs to know.

"James I am done with you. I am done fighting for you; I am done with everything. Now I want you to do something for me, fight for me, tell your family about your son. After telling them then you know where you can find me. For now, leave me the fuck out of your personal miserable useless life and stay away from my son", I push him away and disappear back to my palace

This is messed up; Hannah knows her way back, so I did not wait for her

Clara:

"Mum change of plans, my acquaintance has informed me that Lisa has done something bad to Ryan's mate and now she fled away. I need to go and find her", Lisa has messed up everything and I don't think it will be possible for Ryan to forgive her. She went extreme this time, if she did this for love then she has lost Ryan.

"So you are going to surprise them sooner than expected. What about Ray?" Ray is my son, who I got from my mate, but sadly he died, we were in an accident, and I couldn't save both, I had to save one of them and I chose my child. He could have died because he had a lot of injuries and the steering wheel was in his belly and his legs were crushed underneath the car, while my baby was crying on the other hand

"Mum take care of my son Ray; he will soon be here with me and Ryan." I will get Ray when the time is right.

"Okay, just remember that I also need time for myself", I love my mum but sometimes she just, she is herself.

She loves traveling the world and she loves her money and her cars and her men. Yes, my mum still dates, and she does it openly, doesn't care about the world and their opinions. She loves me and my son very much.

"Mum it will only be two weeks and I will be there to take my son"

"Promise you will come back alive?"

"Mum stop being dramatic, I will come back alive"

"Okay leave me be, I will have to take someone to a park, and we have to go for dinner", Ray is very not a troublesome kid, he follows rules and he knows that one day he will meet his uncle and I guess he will meet his uncle sooner than expected

Back in the pack house:

Everyone is worried, Sofia is in the kitchen with Selena to get food for everyone. Ryder is pacing up and down.

"Guys you need to eat. Please I have meat with me, and sandwiches", Selena says putting the trolly in front of them, she was giving them the forcing look.

Hannah was the first one to take and thank them. Everyone took and James was the only one left. He knew he can't eat again, and that to sandwiches. His mate did him good.

"I am not hungry, I have already eaten", he says with a smile on his face

"Who gave you food?" ask Sofia

"Someone", James answers awkwardly

Everyone looked at him, the old man was blushing, and he didn't even try hiding it.

"Dad, are you in love with the maid?" The alpha asks his father, James just shook his head

"Guys leave your father alone. He is old enough to decide for himself whom he shall love, and you all got mates. Leave the old man alone", Hannah laughs it off and everyone carried on eating.

"I wonder where is mum, she is taking longer and we don't have time"
