Jiang Xi walked over and stopped about two or three steps from the desk, "Old Sun, you wanted to see me?"
Old Sun squinted as he sized her up, his murky eyes full of disdain and contempt.
"Some time ago, I heard that Eldest Young Master Gu's wife was chased around like a homeless dog. I never expected her to appear in our company. I failed to recognize her last time; my eyes must have been failing me."
Old Sun's words were said with a sarcastic tone. Jiang Xi smiled, "Even in the world of the privileged, no one recognizes me as Eldest Young Master Gu's wife. Yet, Old Sun treats me as somebody significant. It shows how broad-minded and respectful you are to those below your status."
A hint of disgust flashed across Old Sun's eyes.
He didn't like Jiang Xi, not from the first glance, and now that Secretary Lin had informed him of her background, his dislike grew stronger.
