That's For My Parents

Former president Nill Wilson then started to tell Nethan about about the meeting 50 years ago and the decision they made and what kind of steps they took to ensure the success of the plan. He also told Nethan about their motive for founding such an organisation.

Nethan was completely horrified by how decisive they had been in the past and what kind of motivation they had to take such drastic measures.

"So the reason your people killed my parents and along with other people was because they learned about the secret organisation and what their motive was and they were going to reveal it to people? How dumb you guys can be to take such a step. Why couldn't you just bribe them or gave a threat so that they couldn't reveal it to others or can't go to media? Why did you have to kill them?

Was that even necessary? That was completely idiotic of you who was renowned as the greatest Prodigy of the era!!"

"I know what you're trying to say. But when you direct such an organisation which absolutely can't be revealed to the outside world you have to take drastic measures. And about convincing them to not say anything about us, we had tried that in the past and some even had accepted that and kept shut and we didn't do anything to them except keeping close observation on them without them knowing. But some tried still tried to reveal us and your parents were one of them. We tried to convince them as well but they didn't listen to us so they left us no other choice but to eliminate the possible Thorn on our way."

After saying that neither Nethan or Nill Wilson said anything. Nethan just coldly stared at Nill thinking back to the conversation they just had and took a deep breath and composed himself.

"So, you are trying to say , my parents came to know your little secret and tried to tell the secret to the public but if that happens your organisation will come to light and the secrecy that you maintained for years would broken and the motive of yours which is to stop humankind from going extinct would be terminated. So to prevent that you first tried to convince them but if that doesn't work you will assassinate them to maintain your secrecy."

"Precisely."

"So what do you want from me?"

"We need your help."

Nethan thought that he heard wrong so he asked again

"Come again?"

"We need your help to stop humankind from going extinct." Nill said calmly.

Hearing that Nethan burst out laughing.

"You want my help , for your organisation??!!

Hahahaha. Wow now that's something I didn't expect at all. I was wondering at first what the people gone missing would be doing. But after hearing your explanation now I know roughly what work they had. But what I don't understand is how am I supposed to stop human from going extinct."

"As you can notice I am old. So if I am lucky I may live just a few more years. So after that they need a leader who can lead them so that they can don't go astray or might get greedy with all the power they will have and bring a calamity on human civilization."

Nethan was astounded after listening to it but he could tell that Nill wasn't trying to deceive him but he wondered where did Nill get so much of confidence on him?

" I have a few question but the most important of them is can you trust me with this? I might just reveal it to outside world as soon as I get the power and might as well abuse my power later?"

Hearing that Nill Wilson laughed aloud.

"Do you think we didn't monitor you before bringing you here. You were among the fifty candidates who could be the potential leader but you were the most eligible for this position.

You are smart and intelligent. You are decisive enough to not retaliate immediately after hearing out motive and the things we had done to achieve our motive. You are intelligent, hard-working, clever, decisive and have charisma of a leader which you show at work as the chief surgeon.

Do you thing any other factor is necessary to have you become the next leader and lead humanity out of this Armageddon?"

Nethan knew all about himself so he couldn't help but admit that Nill was right.

"So will you still keep the next leader binded to a chair?" Nethan said nonchalantly.

Nill showed a broad smile hearing that and motioned the guards to free Nethan.

The guards soon removed the binding and as Nill was coming to shake his hand, Nethan threw a jab directly at Nill's face as Nill fell on the floor with blood came dripping down from his nose.

"That's for my parents."

The guards were taken aback by this sudden change and wanted to restrain Nethan from going any further but Nill stopped them from doing so.

He wiped the blood from his nose with a handkerchief.

" I understand and you may come out of the room after you have calmed down. My secretary will come and fetch you to meet the board members."

After saying that Nill Wilson left silently.
