Going Home with Mu Shen’s Father

Mu Shen paused, waiting for her as Ruan Ruan held his big hand. She looked up at him with a sweet smile.

"Ah~" Little White, a few steps behind, clumsily bumped into her, tumbling back in a round somersault.

"Ah." Little White blinked its small eyes and stood up, shaking its furry little head, then walked a few steps forward, standing beside Ruan Ruan.

Mu Shen glanced at them.

"Heh… Little short legs."

Ruan Ruan puffed up her cheeks and her chubbybulgedlgeded with two little bags, bulged looked like a little goldfish.

"Ruan Ruan is small now, but she will grow up. When she grows up, her legs will be as long as Dad's, and she will be able to walk fast."

Ruan Ruan demonstrated earnestly with her little arms, enviously looking at her dad's long legs that could take him far with just one step.

Mu Shen looked at the serious little bald head, and a flicker of tenderness flashed in his eyes.

He didn't argue with Ruan Ruan and continued walking with her, just noticeably slower this time, making it easy for the little short legs to keep up.

Mu Shen gave them a cold and stern look. Immediately, everyone stood straight in a standard military posture, their bodies tense.

"Do I have to invite you all to get in the car?" Mu Shen's deep voice made everyone shiver, and quickly got into the car.

He shifted his gaze to Ruan Ruan.

"Get in yourself."

Ruan Ruan obediently responded and let go of Mu Shen's hand, crawling into the car.

Mu Shen watched his empty hand for a moment. He had just held the little girl for a while, but now that he let go, he felt… a bit uncomfortable.

"Daddy, come in quickly." Ruan Ruan patted the seat next to her, her big bright eyes looking at him.

"Awu awu…"

Little White hopped around, its chubby little body stood upright, front paws resting on the car, but its short legs couldn't get it inside. It tried several times but failed, whimpering pitifully.

It was still just a little puppy, unable to get in.

Ruan Ruan got off the car seat and walked over, squatting down and picking up the little white wolf.

The driver looked at the little monk, hesitating to speak. Would the boss scold him if he let this cute child hold the puppy?

The assistant and the secretary couldn't help but sigh. Why wouldn't such a cutie call them "Daddy" or "Mommy"? If they were the ones, they would have held this little darling in their arms and cherished her. Mu Shen, on the other hand, was so cold, not afraid of scaring the little one.

But they had to admire the little one's fearlessness in talking to the CEO without any fear.

Mu Shen stared at the innocent look on her face and then withdrew his gaze, looking at her empty head. Then, he placed his large hand on her head and rubbed it twice.

It felt nice, just as good as he had imagined.

Mu Shen's lips slightly curled up, but in an instant, he suppressed the smile and turned it into a cold straight line.

Ruan Ruan patted her head and didn't understand, but she still smiled at him.

After a while, Ruan Ruan started feeling tired from the car ride.

Mu Shen opened the car door and got out, standing still. Ruan Ruan immediately got up from his arms.

Ruan Ruan's little face showed some sleep marks, her eyes were still foggy from just waking up, and her curly and dense eyelashes blinked repeatedly, sweeping over his hand like a little brush.

This child, once she got out of his arms, she hugged his hand again.

Mu Shen "..." She's quite daring.

"Sit properly," he warned in a low, hoarse voice. Ruan Ruan immediately sat down like a well-behaved child, her back straight, and her big eyes staring ahead.

Seeing Li Yan approaching, she gave him a sweet smile.

"Hello, big brother." The little girl greeted politely.

"Hello, little friend," Li Yan replied with a genuine smile. This child was too adorable.

Little White woke up a long time ago. It had been lying down because Ruan Ruan was still asleep. Now that Ruan Ruan was awake, it stood up, rubbed against her legs, wagged its tail slightly, and shook its fluffy little ears.

Ruan Ruan smiled and rubbed Little White's head, then shifted her gaze to the outside.

When they arrived at their destination, Mu Shen opened the car door and got out, with Ruan Ruan holding onto him tightly. The sight of the magnificent villa made her eyes widen, and she could fit an egg in her mouth.

Mu Shen walked towards the villa and Ruan Ruan quickly followed, running and looking around. She seemed like a country bumpkin.

Li Yan looked at the little girl and didn't feel that she was out of place at all. Instead, she looked adorable.

"Daddy, is this our home? Will Ruan Ruan live here from now on? It's so big, Daddy, you're amazing to have such a big and beautiful house."

Ruan Ruan's eyes sparkled, and she followed Mu Shen's footsteps, her mouth chattering away. Unexpectedly, Mu Shen didn't find it annoying.
