Lost in a dream

The car honked as it came near the campus. A tall and huge old fashioned, arched gate opened and made way for the car to enter. Though it (the gate) looked really old it was not rusty but rather they were a pair of handsome, black painted iron gates that were welded with tall , spiked iron rods, giving it a sophisticated look . When the car entered the campus and drove along the road that leads to the dormitory , Clover from the front seat of the car ,couldn't help but recognise the beauty of the premises. There were trees of so many colour gradients on both the sides of the path-way giving the campus a pop of colour and making it pleasing for the eyes. The smell of nature and the gentle breeze made clover a little less tensed.

The tar road of the premises was smooth and wide enough with pedestal path and bike tracks on both the sides. It was a drive of about 3 minutes along the avenue ,after getting to a junction the car slowed down . To the left stood a building demonstrating the magnificence of modern architecture , surrounded by a well groomed garden and tall pine trees. On the right was the administrative building that stood proudly, truly a master piece of European architecture.

Left indicator of the car blinked and the car took a left turn and made its way to the dorms.

Clover hastily unbuckled her seatbelt and opened the door. She got out of the car and was taken aback by the modern marvel , it made her feel like a country bumkin who was in New York city for the first time.

" This is where i am gonna stay? " she almost let out a shriek of excitement but stopped as soon as she realised that there were people around. Correcting her voice and gaining her composure, she turned around and saw her father unloading her luggage's. Clover came to her father and assisted him promptly , the cop kept himself focused on the prosses ,hoping to remain calm at least until he departs .

When all was done , Clover hugged her father gently and the almost old man bent down and muffled his lovely daughter. He paced a peck on her forehead and told her to take it easy and call him if she needs anything, no matter the time. Clover simply nodded because she was overwhelmed by emotions. His expressionless face became filled with worry so he turned around and walked towards the car. Clover watched her father leave her and felt sad and anxious .

Now now, don't worry about her ,it was just until she entered the building. When she entered her new home where she will spend her next 3 years , her jaw dropped and the rest of the things that worried her vanished from her mind.

"Are you freaking kidding me!!!!!!" was what she thought.

Allow me to walk you through some amenities that this new-age dorm is providing for its residents. It is a 10 storey building of 2 parts connected by bridges .With very sophisticated interior design , lighting and air conditioning , the building is nothing short of a luxury residence. The building is parted in the middle by corridor linking bridges to separate the male from the female dormitories. There are 3 libraries connected to study booth halls , 2 research rooms (computer labs) , snack points and wending machines in all the floors and play area on 2 floors (floor 2 and 6).

If this doesn't sound awesome enough , wait until i tell you about the dorm rooms. Each room had a bunk bed , 2 study tables with attached book shelfs, wardrobe with mini dressing table and a chair . The book shelves were big enough to be called a mini library and there were 2 single seater couches (one in each corner) with a side book table and focus study light to enhance your reading experience .

Each room had a marble counter top on the right side were you can do the basics of cooking . I mean on the top of it was a place for your mugs , a coffee maker, an electronic kettle, a bread toaster and a microwave oven. Below the counter, there were 6 drawers and a mini refrigerator to stock up on your favourite drinks. Let me gab a little about the bathroom too , there is a shower and a small bath tub underneath it , there is a beautiful bathroom cabinet with good lighting and a mirror , a geezer goes without saying and of course more than enough rolled towels , dress hanging hooks and a dustbin in the corner.

The building has a huge conference/ party hall on the top floor with a breath taking view.

so no wonder that the female lead is so awe struck to see this ginormous new home to be.

She looked it up on the announcement / details poster that was pinned on the notice board (which was hung on the right side of the front desk) and found out that her room was in the third floor. Stunned by the number of stares to take, she asked the person in the front desk for the way to the lift , and before the busy women with an annoyed expression could give clover a reply , someone tapped her on the shoulder. It was a beautiful dusky girl just a little taller than clover , her eyes were glowing black that was enchanting .She has long ,silky ,black hair which she has tied up into a high ponytail. She had a slim figure but a curvy body and Clover stood mesmerised looking at the gorgeous women in front of her.

"Hey redhead!,.. hello! what are you spacing out for?" she asked clover impatiently,

"Oh sorry ! you were just super good looking" she said without having a second thought, which made the black haired girl blush a little , she quickly wiped out that expression from her face and with her hand, pointed to the left and walked before clover towards that direction without saying a word. Clover understood what that meant, so she followed after her. Now looking at the girl from behind clover noticed the Hard side Bag with Spinner Wheels that she was dragging behind her ,

"She must be moving in today just like me huh?"..... "what will be her room number(wondering)".... "Her roommate should be lucky to have such a beautiful friend by proximity" clover thought to herself .

They both got into the lift and she pressed the circled that had number 3 engraved on it.

"what a coincidence " clover thought and smudged her shoulders thinking "at least , i will run into her at times because we are living on the same floor" (smiles ).
