Shinobi of life

The next morning Naruto was standing on the Mizukage building overlooking the city, watching the people go about recovering while his clones helped where they can. Today he and the other Konoha Shinobi would head back home, so he decided to give Kirigakure a gift.

"Greetings lord Naruto" came a voice from behind Naruto "you requested to see me?"

"Yeah, but, can you stop calling me lord Naruto" Naruto said without turning back "it makes me feel awkward. Just call me Naruto, old man" he told Ao

"After that display of power, can you blame me for not wanting to get on your bad side?" Ao replied

Naruto chuckled while scratching the back of his head "anyway back to business, did you receive a reply from Utakata?"

"Yes, he agreed to meet you at a village called Tsuchigumo Village near mount Katsuragi" Ao explained

Naruto nodded in understanding then turned back to the village "do you have a large empty and unused space in the village?"

Ao thought for a minute "I can think of a few" he nodded

"Lead me to the one closest to the centre of the village" Naruto commanded

Ao, being the intelligent man he is, did not argue and started moving in the direction of the plot of land "may I ask why you need it lo…uh Naruto?"

"Oh, I'm just going to leave a gift for the village to help it recover" Naruto said with a kind smile and what can only be described as a mischievous glint in his eyes

Soon enough they reached the plot of land. Naruto started inspecting it then started mumbling to himself (Solo) then he created four clones to write seals around the plot before they each went to a corner and sat as if to power the seals.

Naruto stood at one side and started making hand seals. Normally, with his understanding of the Law of nature he wouldn't need hand seals to summon a Massive tree, but this isn't just a massive tree. He is currently attempting to summon a sacred tree, a shinboku. This requires infusing a law or Divinity in it, which in turn requires a lot of power and concentration.

Being the first time Dante is creating anything using both the creation of all things and wood release, just adds to the difficulty. Add the fact it is the first time he is adding a Law into it and the task becomes a true god level challenge. Thus the use of the seals to help forming some of the chakra required for this momentous task.

It took several minutes of immense concentration and a whopping 333 hand signs, but it was done. Once he finished the Jutsu, Blue chakra covered his hand. He then proceeded to penetrate the ground with his hand till it was entirely bellow surface.

It took a few seconds before a small tree broke from the soil and stood upright. At this point a lot of people had gathered to see what their hero was going to do next. They were somewhat disappointed that all that work only garnered a small tree. The ninja and chakra sensitive among them however were not disappointed as they felt the immensely dense chakra radiating from it.

After completing his task, Naruto proceeded to exit the borders of the seals. That was the signal for the clones to begin pumping chakra into them. The small tree in the middle of the seal formation started to grow bigger and bigger, until it was larger than a Bijuu.

The seal formation he placed around the field is a formation he developed to contain his understanding of the Law of Nature and the Law of time to allow the crops in the ground to grow quickly without depleting the nutrients from the ground. It also only works on plants so no accidentally aging someone even his understanding of the Law of time is meniscal at best.

"Great, it worked" Naruto exclaimed with a carefree smile on his face

"Naruto?" he heard from behind, when he turned he saw Mei approach him "what did you do?"

"A small..." Naruto said then paused to turn and look at the tree before amending "large gift from me to help your village recover. It is a shinboku"

"A sacred tree?" asked Asuma as he arrived with Zabuza, Kakashi and Gai.

"Yup, except this one will pull loose unused and tainted chakra from the air emit it back as healing chakra to help with the recovery of the village" he then turned back to the tree "I think I'll offer it to Sunagakure the next time I'm there"

"THAT IS MOST YOUTHFUL NARUTOOOO!" Gai shouted at the top of his lungs with anime tears going down his cheeks.

'Ah, I was wondering when he was going to say that' Naruto thought

"We already owe you a lot" Mei said with tears welling in her eyes "I don't know how we can ever repay you" she said the last bit as she bowed her head.

The crowed that had gathered originally had increased as the tree grew in size and they were curious. When they saw their chosen leader they all also bowed, all but Zabuza who just bowed his head 'Can't have the demon of the mist bowing to anyone now can we' Naruto thought.

Naruto looked at the people bowing to him and considered his options. He could deny it as nothing and insult the value of their wellbeing, not happening. He could say it was a simple thing and look boastful, not trying to look bad here.

That leaves the last option "It is the greatest thing for an individual to find their own way in the road we call life. Our road is that of a Shinobi, it is a hard path that is full of hardship and death and very little in term of life" he said to the people present who were now listening to him and hanging on his every word, some of the ninja present nodding along his words "I saw this and chose to forge my own path. A path that is full of Life and only the necessary amount of death, a path where I wouldn't be a ninja under someone's command but my own man. Naruto Uzumaki is his own man. This is my ninja way" Dante was speaking, and the steel in his voice was heard by all

The Naruto spoke again "as a good man I saw people suffering and had the ability to help. So I did what my ninja way demanded of me and helped. It is as simple as that"

Naruto didn't know this yet, but in a time where there were no TV and no politicians giving speeches, his words rung loud. His name would be spreading throughout the world, as the free Shinobi of life.
