Forging Weapon & Bond

Hephaestus is a happy Goddess. She has an odd little family. She has her forge and improved god flame. She has the school and her students. Most importantly though, she has her boyfriend, the God, Dante.

And right now… she loves him more than life itself.

*a few minutes earlier*

"Hey Hephaestus, how was this morning's class?" Dante asked her as he entered

Hephaestus turned from the plans she was studying and walked towards him to get a hug "it was ok, the people of Sparda are really driven, and there was some talent there as well" she spoke as she hugged him "what brings you here?" she asked

He countered her question with his own "did you study the plans I sent you?" he asked her

She nodded "yes, they are odd though" she turned back to the plans she was reading and picked them up "what are these disks exactly?"

Dante smiled "a weapon, a shield, a foci and whatever else I want it to be" he told her much to her confusion

"And the materials?" she asked

Dante raised four fingers "there will be four metals, and one wood type involved" when she made no move to speak he continued "let's start with the materials you know" he said as he pulled a large tree trunk from his inventory and set it in the middle of the large crafting room

Hephaestus's eyes bulged "a branch from the tree of Life" she spoke with reverie

Dante nodded "it's the same large trees you see around Sparda" he informed her as she never went to an area within their effect, like the fields or the city "you need to explore Sparda more Hephy" he said in a tired tone

"But there is so much to experiment with" she whined like a child

Dante shook his head and decided to move on "the next material" he said as he fished ten ingots of what seems to be gold "Adamantine"

Hephaestus looked happy about seeing the metal "it's been a long time since I worked with the metal of the gods" she smiled in remembrance

"It is more powerful the more power the god wielding it has" Dante shrugged "it looked like an obvious choice" he then reached into his inventory and pulled ten ingots of a dirty grey metal

Hephaestus looked at it in confusion "what metal is this?" she asked Dante

"This, my dear, is the metal used by the Asgardian gods, Uru" he said surprising her, but she didn't speak and instead waited for the explanation, so Dante complied "Uru is more powerful the more magic is channelled through it" he explained

Hephaestus took a thinking pose "so basically, both metals grow with you. One through your divinity and the other through your magic… what are the others?" she asked with a vicious glint in her eyes

Dante smiled and pulled out another ten ingots of a silvery metal "Nth metal, the more you understand it the stronger it gets" he explained

Hephaestus frowned "how does that work?" she asked

"Like magic" Dante shrugged "if you know more magic, you can do more things, like energy projection and absorption, teleportation, gravity manipulation and others" he informed the stunned goddess who by this point was sitting on her workshop stool in awe

"*Sigh* I know you saved the best for last… What is it?" she asked in surrender only for Dante to shake his head

"This one stays with me till the discs are ready" he informed her

She looked at the plans again and noticed there is a small hole in the centre of each of the discs "later instalments?" she asked to which Dante nodded

It took a few days, but the discs were completed to perfection, as is the standard of the goddess of the forge, who was now looking intensely at her creation as Dante carved ruins on the inner most ring that is made of Uru "this should be the last one" Dante said as he lifted the disk after finishing his carving.

The disk was about a foot in diameter, where the inner most ring is the Uru grey, then the adamantine gold and lastly the Nth metal silver. It was also one of ten on the table next to Dante "now can I see this ultimate metal thing?" Hephaestus asked

Dante nodded and took out ten spherical marbles of a metal with a silvery blue shine "Metal X aka tenth metal" he spoke Slowly "has reality warping abilities, and can literally make and destroy entire universes with larger quantities" he spoke in warning "that is why only I will handle it, as a stray thought could kill many people here"

Hephaestus was by now standing in the corner, looking at the marbles like they are the devil's incarnate "get on with it" she shouted as she saw Dante not doing anything

Dante shrugged and placed each marble in one of the discs "time for the real deal" he said as he released his energy to encompass the discs. Soon enough the discs melted into liquid like form and entered him like a symbiote, which is exactly what Dante wanted.

Once the entirety of the liquidized metal entered his body, he sat down in a lotus position and started to mould it through a mixture of Divine will and Magic.

It took him an hour. When he woke up he saw Hephaestus sleeping in a chair nearby. Dante smiled and picked her up in a princess carry as she woke up "huh, Dante" she rubbed her eyes cutely and then got startled remembering the symbiote and asked "did it work?"

Dante laughed and instantly teleported to Hephaestus's room "it worked, and now we are going to celebrate" he grinned at her

"w-w-wait" she panicked "I'm sweaty from working for several days in a row, and so are you" she then lowered her head and started fiddling with her fingers "and I might need help handling you" she said in a calm voice

Dante narrowed his eyes at her, making her fidget more. He then laughed "ahahaha, if someone sees you, they would think it is our first night together" he chuckled a bit more when she swatted his chest as she was still being carried "fine, let's make it a full blown celebration then, why don't we" he gave her a last kiss before letting her down, and going to summon the rest of his harem. After all, he has a weapon now

Today Dante is spending time with Nymi, as he calls her. He can see her crushing on him, and though he already has a Loli in his harem called Ophis, he is not touching her till she is at least sixteen, Metamorphmagus or not.

"Hey Dante?" the ten year old Nymi called "do you like being a Metamorphmagus?" she asked Dante as they were watching TV

Dante thought for a bit and then answered "yes, it's fun to be able to transform into different people and animals" he said with a smile

"Animals?" she asked "I can't transform into an animal" she looked at Dante "can you?"

Dante nodded and turned to a pink cat and jumped at Nymi and started to sidle to her, causing her to giggle. After a bit he transformed back and turned to her "what do you think?"

Nymi looked downtrodden "I can't do that" she said, sounding sad "I can't even control it, let alone transform into different things"

Dante looked at her in question, playing the role of a child "have you not learned occlumency?" he asked

Nymi looked at him oddly "why would that help?"

Dante resisted the urge to face palm and spoke "does your ability respond to your emotions?" she nodded so he continued "did you know that occlumency helps you control your emotions?" he asked her

Nymi's eyes widened "why has no one told me?"

Dante shrugged "better late than never" he then showed himself taking a book from one of his pockets and presented it to her "here, this is my family book on occlumency, you can't show it to anyone, and even if you did, they won't be able to see it. Got it?"

Nymi nodded cutely, her brown hair swishing around. As she took the book she read the title "Solomon's guide to the mind arts?" she looked at Dante, to which he simply smiled. Nymi saw his nice smile and went to him and hugged him "thank you" she told him in a soft voice

As she separated from Dante, he noticed her blush, but didn't show it "anything for my Nymi" he told her with a teasing grin as he was walking away, increasing her blush

She saw his smile and started running after him "I told you not to call me that" she shouted

Dante didn't stop "I can call my future wife whatever I want" he said in mock seriousness

"Well now that is an interesting development, don't you think Lily" Dante heard from behind him

"It certainly is Andromeda, it certainly is" Lily responded

Dante didn't turn to look he simply grabbed Nymi's hand and sashed out of the room shouting "you will never keep us apart" much to the happiness and embarrassment of Nymi "SHE IS MINE"

Andromeda ran after them, not feeling so young in a long time, maybe something in the tea, shouting "not yet you BRAT"

Lily chuckled shaking her head at her son's antics, but then decided she might as well join in and secure her future Daughter in law "you're in a lot of trouble young man" she shouted as she ran after the group

That day, 12 grimmauld place was not just a house, but a home, and one filled with joy.
