Take This Bungalow

編輯: Nyoi-Bo Studio

"A zombie actually knows how to write? What the h*ll is going on?"

The man's eyes got very wide as he looked in disbelief at Wang Hao. He appeared terribly shaken.

Everything that had just happened completely contradicted all the information he had learned about zombies since the Apocalypse.

Graaaah…

Wang Hao loosened his grip on the man's neck and placed the katana against the man's throat.

His message was very clear. If the man didn't answer him honestly, Wang Hao was going to kill him.

After the man had gotten over his initial shock, he slowly regained his senses.

He asked, "If I tell you what you want to know, will you spare me?"

Graaaahh…

Wang Hao growled and pushed his katana a little harder against the man's throat.

The man's neck immediately started bleeding.

"Don't…please…I'll talk, I'll talk…"

The man didn't dare to say anything else unnecessary and quickly spilled the beans.

"There are ten of us in total here. Besides the five who've just left, there are three more inside the bungalow."

Graahh…

Wang Hao thought about this for a while. Since there were only three people left in the bungalow, that would be easy for him to deal with.

PFFTT!

After Wang Hao killed the man, he stood up and walked toward the main door of the bungalow.

When he pushed the door open, he was a bit stunned by what he saw inside.

He had already seen several bungalows, but the one he was seeing now shocked him.

Inside there were a gigantic crystal chandelier, a plush carpet worth millions, and a TV that he knew for sure cost more than a million bucks. Everything in this place screamed that it had been owned by someone who was extremely wealthy.

"This place is not bad."

Wang Hao started to search the place.

He checked the first floor and didn't find anybody there, so he went up to the second floor.

There were several rooms on the second floor, including a room for LAN gaming, a fully equipped gym, and a karaoke room. In short, there were plenty of entertainment options in this house.

"I'm going to walk from the south to the north, and I'm going to walk from day until night. I want everyone to be able to see me, but nobody knows who I am."

Someone was inside the karaoke room singing a popular pop song.

The room door was ajar, so Wang Hao could see two men inside drinking alcohol and singing at the top of their lungs.

Creaaak…

Wang Hao gently pushed the door open.

"Huh?"

The two men turned to look at the door in confusion and saw Wang Hao in Zombie Form.

The air seemed to stand still at that moment.

The music continued playing in the background, but the two men didn't hear it anymore. They couldn't take their eyes off Wang Hao.

They had never seen a zombie so close to them before, and, worse still, they weren't even prepared for this one.

They didn't have anything nearby that they could use to fight with, and the only door they could escape from had now been blocked by Wang Hao.

"It's a zombie…what do we do now?"

The two men had gone completely pale, and they even began to stutter.

"What else can we do? Run!"

One of them shouted loudly and pushed the other man toward Wang Hao.

He was hoping to sacrifice his companion in hopes of making it out alive.

Unfortunately for him, Wang Hao wasn't a real zombie.

HUU!

Wang Hao reached out to grab the neck of the man who'd been pushed toward him, lifted him up, and smashed him against the floor.

BAM!

The man's head broke open from the impact, and he died on the spot.

"Ugh, how did that happen?"

The man who had been hoping to use his companion to distract the zombie was stunned when he'd seen what had happened.

This zombie in front of him was not just smart, but also very strong. There was no chance of his escaping if he was faced with such a zombie.

"Don't kill me…please don't kill me…"

The man kept moving backward, pleading for mercy as his voice trembled.

Wang Hao ignored his pleas, dashed into the room, and kicked him in the chin.

The man's jaw was instantly dislocated from the kick, and he flew backward.

BAM!

The man crashed heavily onto the floor, his eyes rolled up in his head, and he stopped breathing.

After he had quickly taken care of these two men, Wang Hao walked out and shut the door of the karaoke room behind him.

In the entire bungalow there was only one person left. If the man earlier had been telling the truth, then it must be the Zhang Qianqian who the two men in the garage had been talking about before Wang Hao barged in.

Wang Hao reverted to Human Form and walked up to the third floor with his katana.

Since he was going to face a woman, he didn't need to remain in Zombie Form.

Once he reached the third floor, Wang Hao immediately started looking around.

There were many rooms on this floor, and they all looked like bedrooms.

Some of the bedrooms had a lot of bras and panties strewn all over the floor, and so Wang Hao decided they didn't belong to only one woman.

"Don't tell me these fellows are into threesomes and things like that?"

Wang Hao guessed that things were probably like that.

He saw dozens of used condoms in the garbage cans. The depravity of these people's daily lives was apparent.

Wang Hao checked one room at a time. After he had finished checking all the other rooms, he stopped at the door of the final room, which had a piece of paper pasted on the door.

There was one sentence written on this piece of paper: Besides meals, don't disturb me.

"Looks like it's a woman with quite a temper."

Wang Hao grabbed hold of the door handle, turned it, and opened the door.

Inside the room, Wang Hao saw a woman sitting in front of a computer with earphones on as she shook her head to a beat.

This woman was listening to music, and she hadn't noticed Wang Hao coming in.

She only turned around to look up after Wang Hao had tapped her on the shoulder.

"Who are you? I've never seen you before."

The woman's face took on a suspicious look when she saw Wang Hao standing behind her.

"Ho, ho, ho…"

Wang Hao laughed and replied, "Don't be nervous. I just felt that this bungalow looked more luxurious than the others, so I wanted to come and live here."

"That's impossible… Li Hu, Chao, and the others would never agree to that," said the woman as she shook her head.

"There's an easy solution. I just have to kill all of them," replied Wang Hao with an expressionless face.

When the woman heard these words, a look of fear appeared on her face.

She said, "Wait a minute. Chao and some others are downstairs. Why didn't they stop you from coming up?"

"I don't know who this Chao is, but I've already killed four people," said Wang Hao.

"What? You've killed all of them?"

The woman was really shocked now. She knew how skilled Chao was at fighting. As long as he had a knife in his hand, even if five or six zombies surrounded him, he could settle all of them easily.

Besides, the other three guys weren't weaklings either. Otherwise, they wouldn't have survived the Apocalypse for so long.

She felt sure that if Wang Hao was telling the truth, then this situation was truly terrifying.

She looked deeply at Wang Hao, then withdrew her gaze. She had already decided that Wang Hao had to be a really frighteningly strong fighter.

"When will the five people who left earlier come back to the house?" asked Wang Hao.

"I don't know. They've gone out to look for food, and they've never taken me along," said the woman.

"What sort of weapons do they have?"

"Usually they'll take along weapons like machetes and axes…," said the woman softly.

"Are you sure you're not lying to me?"

Wang Hao reached out and grabbed hold of the woman's chin and forced her to look at him.
