A singular word.

Yet that was all took.

A white light engulfed her being, making her appear like a being of light. Her physical features began to change subsequently. Her already tall enough, 1.8 meter tall body slowly grew to 2 meters and became slimmer and more sculpted. By slowly, it is meant as only 5 seconds.

During that same time her fingernails extended to claws that measured over 12 centimeters. Her hair also extended to reach as low as her thighs and flowed as wild as a raging river. The armor's arm portion could be seen to have shattered past the shoulder, proving she exceeded the maximum strength of someone within the first few tiers.

After a few more seconds the light faded and revealed her pupils to be similar to that of a cat's and a bright crimson. Her luxurious hair also changed to that shade of crimson, her now claw-like nails became a pearly white that no teeth could compare to.

That same pearly white color extended up arm like flames, her arms were dipped in holy paint.

Within her eyes was infinite embarrassment, it may have been the phrase, or it was the shrinkage in her man controllers… or breast. Annabelle quickly took the initiative to break the silence before any of the males had a chance to mention that size change.

"Waaa! Your ability is amazing!" Annabelle exclaimed by just knowing what being a complete arcaned represented. It meant to be a top powerhouse, unrivaled within their rank and the ability to surmount supposed gaps in ranks and win! Every big group, whether for better or worse, has at least one complete arcaned. Golden Rose Domain, being a formidable group, has 15 complete arcaned… 16 if we include Emma.

Complete arcaned simply aren't human, in an almost literal since. Their genes are vastly different from the average person, they hold dormant potential of a new type of human.

Many potential complete arcaned never have a chance to awaken their true strength, this signifies how lucky she was to be the abysmal chance of an abysmal chance.

Though, it is even more unexpected in the team of nearly entirely re-arcaned. Except for one individual with a wizard's gear.

Anna turned to that individual and asked him a question that everyone expected, "What about you, Vin? Have you also been hiding a mystical ability..!"

With a grand anticipation for a wonderful display of abilities, Vin had no other lchoice. "First I need miss kitty cat to turn off her ability." A bit of anger quietly brewed in Emma's eyes but she still obliged and disabled it.

He then walked by all of them to the next area of the gate, hastily speaking, "I just wanted that form to be turned off, it was giving me a headache, just like the rest of your abilities."

The sound of three people running immediately followed, there was one person speed walking away but it evolved into running away, making it become four running people. Annabelle stood there in confusion for a moment then walked to and through the edge of the bastion to catch up.

What Alexander, Draco, and Emma did when they caught up to Vin was only known to four of them. Vin, however, knows he will remember this even if he were to die ten times over.

By the time Annabelle could save him it was already over and he was drenched in water and being hung up in the cave by a sword that pierced into an artificially created wall. Humiliated, he gave up with his struggling, having given in to defeat. "…I won't insult your… ama… amazing abilities that are way better than mine again."

Dejectedly apologizing as it was his only way down. Draco, proud with glee, hurriedly spoke, "Why didn't ya say so sooner."

Alexander took his sword from the earth wall as if he was being proclaimed king that very moment, but first he grabbed the dredge of Vin's robe off the handle and dropped him after grabbing his sword. Causing Vin to fall to a deep, crimson colored floor. The sign of an already completed fight, blood and bodies.

Sadly for the Arc-Beast, they weren't human corpses… but Arc-Beast corpses. On the plus side for the Arc-Beast, black flames in the shape of a phoenix were hurled from an unknown location towards Vin who was upside down, not having yet touched the ground.

With only enough time to realize he was about to be engulfed in flames in a few seconds, he listened to the crackling of the flames… and realized something magisterial. The headache he's had since the very beginning of entering this gate was gone. Instead, he could faintly see the way energy moved to form the skill.

His teammates could have saved him in time, Emma in particular, but he felt instinctually he could take it into his own hands. It had only been a short while of a second or two, so there was still time.

Instantaneously, he shot forward his arm and a phoenix of water shot forth from his now outstretched hand. Due to Vin being upside down, the water phoenix was upside down. That however, didn't stop his attack from shooting through the phoenix of flames and onto the half skeleton and half robed creature that shot it.

A resounding explosion occurred as everyone saw what happened. The team looked at the scheming creature that was still alive then back to Vin who had an expression of victory of his face as he got up off the ground he landed butt first on, "I think I got this one."

As he dusted his robe, many black balls of flames were summoned and released from the humanoid skeletal, half robed creature.

The other teams would certainly go mad if they knew of Vins current thought… 'Ah, new skills…'

He pointed his finger in the shape of a gun and created a rotating sphere of wind with a one meter diameter.

"Wind shot."

The sphere of wind was launched forward without hesitation and went through all the flames, dispelling each one. The attack then decided to go ahead and break through the creatures bones, destroying its left side.

Vin, however, wasn't done.

Copying a move from an anime where the people had spiky hair that turned blue, he shot a beam of energy from his hand through a brain on the right side of the creature's body.

The remaining body of the creature lifelessly slumped to the ground, Vin walked over to the corpse and grabbed a dagger from Draco. Cutting out a bit of flesh in a circular manner for one purpose. To grab a spherical shaped item that looked like it held clouds in a sea of flames within the it… a core.

"It's only fair this Re-Arcaned gets the core." Vin said, firmly announcing he was a Re-Arcaned. His light purple eyes shining with a mystical ability only privy to himself.
