Chapter 13: Dumbfounded Girl

Travelling ten minutes earlier.

In a wooden shed on the outskirts of the camp.

Mino deftly skinned all the little lizards and three rats, removed their internal organs, tied them with ropes, and hung them on the fire pit to smudge.

Then she rubbed her palms with sand to remove blood stains from her hands.

Mino quickly tied up the cloth sack and stuffed it under the bed just in case someone came to search for it later.

"Let's just hide for the night and leave right before dawn tomorrow."
