Ji Shen and his gang weren't the only ones to make such observations.

Even though Chong Tsay had been quiet all this time, he had also been analyzing the issue at hand too.

He was a bully by nature and loved absolute freedom.

Of course, he was prepared for military life.

But this was too over the top from all that he had heard about the barracks.

Sure. There were hills, trees and whatnot inside here, but it didn't feel the same.

Now, since he was trapped in here, he first decided on getting as many lackeys as possible to do work for him.

Looking at the building before him and remembering the words of The Keeper, it seems that they aren't the only batch in here presently.

They might be the last batch to arrive, but there were definitely more batches and people.

Even though he hadn't seen any of the other batches yet, they might be doing training far away from here on those hills, valleys or even within the buildings.

So he had to be prepared.

Apart from Chong Tsay, a handful of people also thought like this too.

And one of them was the silent Tsetu Zhi, who was also one of the strongest recruits this year.

What's so funny is that his twin sister also entered the military alongside him, but was taken to the female training center within this same barracks.

Unlike many, he had somewhat been aware of this matter.

His father was a top figure in the Federation and had given hints here and there.

So each district had a single barrack that took in everyone from all towns, cities and villages in the District.

In the barracks, the females also had their own training grounds separate from the males.

Anyway, Tsetu's sister was now on the other side.

The batch of recruits ran around the massive field with different expressions on their faces.

Some were angry, some tired, some calm and others stressed.

The veterans stood as statues, observing their every move and expressions.

There were batches from A to Z, all in here.

These recruits were the last to arrive and were given the letter 'Z' as their batch name, just as planned.

There were 360 of them in total. Hence, they were ranked and named according to their performance during the military examinations.

So one could be called Z-001, Z-111 or even Z-340.

While here, these were their names.

And as some had already guessed, in the massive ring-like structure, other batches and recruits were residing inside, alongside several veterans who all answered to The Keeper.

It was a real jungle in here, and only the strong would survive.

The veterans all observed their targets, making sure to take every little detail into account.

They not only took note of these and reported it to The Keeper, but also communicated it to their microphones.

While keeping their eyes on the recruits, they spoke to each other with their earpieces.

At the same time, their individual teams within the ring-shaped building also listened in and noted everything down.

The chain of order in here was crazy!

These veterans out here were The Keeper's main and leading team, and were known to many as 'Hell Shadows.'

In here, the Keeper was like a King who had his main subordinates.

And his subordinates, in turn had hundreds and thousands of people under them, all following their every command.

There were 15 Hell Shadows in total.

One of the Hell Shadows closest to The Keeper, furrowed his brows suspiciously.

The Keeper glanced over with Ji Shen and caressed his chin calmly: "Interesting."

Everyone glanced at Ji Shen with a strange light in their eyes.

They had studied the results for all recruits as a whole, and all knew about the weak chicken that joined the Federation military.

As a matter of fact, his results were the weakest in the history of this barracks.

They had never taken someone so weak in.

Yet, he somehow managed to finish 2 while running alongside Z-002 (Lin Chindu) and Z-005 (Ren Senko).

It looked like this season might be entertaining to them after all.
