Zeke's POV
Everything is going well and smooth. But, another problem came: what are the ranks of those in the guild and what ranks of quests will be? I know all that for a long time as a spy in other countries, and that includes their adventurers' guilds. So, I went to Lloyd and Westlan, who were having dinner with Gretchel, Sati, Laura, and Hale at the main administrative house, and said to them, "How about the ranks and quests?"
This interrupts their meal time, and they looked at me.
"Ranks?"
"Is there such thing, too?"
"Oh! Yes, there are ranks that determine your place in the guild, too," Westlan replied back. "Depending on the level, your place might be lofty or lowly."
The Undead animals then get what he had said, while master seems to know that.
"Adventurers' guild?" Gretchel raised a question.
"Yes, sis," Lloyd replied back to her. "It's where adventurers and explorers gathered for quests and missions."
"Oh, right, there is such thing in our hometown," responded Gretchel. "I remembered the time Jan-san revealed some secret info about elder brother's SSS-rank as a hero."
"What? A shortcut?" her older brother replied back in shock. "Without any effort to rise to that rank?"
"According to Jan-san, yes, without any effort at all."
At this point, master and Westlan-kun seemed to be upset by it.
"I can't believe this."
"That's corruption for you."
Because of this, I eventually said to them, "Let's make ranks and quests a bit more different than those from a typical adventurers' guild."
Eventually, master, Westlan, and the others agreed.
So, the next day, while the guild was being constructed, me, master, Westlan, and the rest of the subordinates and tribal leaders had a meeting again. This time, it's all about our new guild's ranks and quests and its reward system.
"I don't like the hierarchy of theirs," Westlan complained his dismay to us. "Let's make a better system."
But, me and master are hesitant at his proposal.
"I don't think that's a good idea."
"Yeah, it might be complex. Let's just keep it."
Eventually, not wanting us to be upset, Westlan had no choice but to agree and abandon that proposal.
After that, master and I made a better ranking system, which was still based on the typical adventurers' guild system of ranking, but with some modifications. I put the name Dragon at the highest level, indicating that it contains high-ranking, difficult quests, while the name Cat is in the bottom, indicating that it contains low and easy ones. Those names are based on what autonomous tribe the quests will take place in. We then worked on the specific requirements to go on Dragon-ranked quests like requiring a leader and a party of 5 to do so, while for the Cat-ranked quests, one person, of a low rank, is enough to do the job. The tribal leaders agreed to their tribes' place in the quest difficulty ranks.
Later, we, alongside Westlan and the others, worked on the ranks of the adventurers and explorers in the guild, starting from the bottom to the top. We then used various terms for ranks like Newbie in the most bottom, Combatant and Upper Combatant in the middle and upper middle, and eventually, Platinum Leader in the top. The other names were assigned in lower and lower middle. Those ranks are Hunter and Fighter.
Then, before lunch time, while working on the flexibilities, quests, rewards, and requirements of going to a higher rank, the other Undead animals expressed to me, master, and Westlan how we are geniuses. But the three of us objected that claim, saying we are just creative on making and figuring things out.
