Ji Yao patiently answered her.
"This is where Mommy went to school, not home, and Xinxin wasn't born here either. Plus, Grandma is over there, and Mommy wants to take you back to see Grandma."
"Grandma?" Ji Xinxin murmured, her face lighting up with surprise.
"Wow, that's Mommy's mommy, right?"
"Right, Xinxin is so smart," Ji Yao praised her.
Seeing this, Lan Tina had no choice but to let them go, only reminding them to visit often.
For many years, Ji Yao had been incredibly busy with work, so Mina had spent most of the time taking care of Ji Xinxin.
Mina was very reluctant to part with the little girl, crying so much that she lost all composure: "Oh, will you come back after you return to your own country? I'll miss Xinxin."
Ji Xinxin walked over and hugged Mina, her round eyes filled with vivacity and clarity: "I will come back to play with you, Sister Mina, but you mustn't forget me."
Mina cried even harder.
By the end of the conversation, Mina finally stopped crying.
