After Alice made her "progress report" of some sort, their is nothing really worth doing here, so we just indulged ourselves in the couch of the underground room of the library, licking each other's tongue, because Alice is already pregnant, penetration is not allowed and I can't really promise her to not ejaculate inside her, so we just kissed and touched each other rather intensely, upon looking at her and continuously entangle my tongue and squirm my fingers, some things like erection is unavoidable and honestly I want to just do her again, but my child will be affected and that's an automatic no for me.
What I did instead is that, after many hours of kissing, and after she gave me her masterful blowjob, I calmed down atleast for a little bit and after some more minutes of fingering and some tongue action, I immediately decided to take my leave.
I used the style of Ophiuchus of entering and exiting, the "purple blur" stuff but mine is black and immediately appeared in my palace, I am still not calm after those hours of kissing with Alice so when I saw Juliet walking alone, I immediately grabbed her and let out my "eagerness" to her without holding back, she have a rather unexpected stamina and didn't passed out even a single round unlike Alice so their is squealing sounds of her in the whole palace(I didn't bothered using magic this time) until sunset when I finally got satisfied.
Anyway, I, once again have things to do, not like I'm always free either because I am still a prince of this country, but anyway, four days to go before the very much awaited banquet of the Seven Rulers, a banquet of the most prominent leaders of their respective race, if not sugar coated banquet of a bunch of egocentric overpowered idiots who have a two hundred years worth of grudge against each other.
And with that, of course members that will accept the invitation of this banquet (I'm sure they all will), will prepare and bring their strongest subordinates, I am not sure how Idun will bring Leon over, but yeah all of them except me will be showcasing their power through their subordinate.
Even the so called Archangel of Humility will only not get her strongest angel because she's not in her territory and is just freeloading in Tyrfing, what's more her brother, Lucifer, the incarnation of pride or the Dragon King right?
So why would I not tap on Ophiuchus? Except for the reason I said yesterday, their actually is another one that keeps me from making her appear beside me in the meeting that is about to be held, as you know last chapt-, I mean, a little while ago, I gave her the mission of commanding the scouting and espionage unit of the intel network that is just in its infancy, of course this unit will not just become a unit that will be constrained by human standards, they have to delve deep and be qualified with MY standards.
Obviously, because they are just a bunch of criminals that just have an emmense amount of potential on becoming spies because their line of work being intel gathering as one of its second nature, or one can even say that criminal organization have espionage as its nature itself.
Just take bandits for example, if they don't have scouts that will monitor a potential merchant caravan that can be robbed, how can they be called a bandit group in the first place? Instead they will just be called a bunch of idiots.
Much more this syndicates that have many competitors in their field, if anything, they might even, atleast for scale, can match the previous intel network of Alice and that was really impressive.
Going back to the topic, this people may have a good amount of potential in them, but in humans, they are already elites of their field, in my eyes, they just have potential and not at all an elite unit, of course because Ophiuchus is a person who specializes on this craft, she will have a higher standard than me and will immediately train this people in the forest of death and as of now, I am so sure that they are still in the middle of the forest and tracking their way out of that damnable forest.
Some of them might even got lost and mawed by the monsters of that forest, only their fate will decide and even I as their Lord cannot do so no matter how they admire me in their eyes.
In short, she's extremely busy right now and I can even tell that her husband have a very "needy" rod like me except that he is faithful to her... Atleast that's what I know so...
Anyway, that's why I can't bring Ophiuchus over.
Chrysaor may have some kind of reputation being a threat in the Seven Rulers, but, he's far from competing to people that will gather their, I mean a crippled man can only do so much even for someone of his calibre.
So I want to have people that can put up a fight, who cares if they win or not, hell its fine if they got the wrong impression of my subordinates.
Actually, that's more preferable.
So right now, Chrysaor who have a little bit of free time started to tabulate and name all the teachers that have potential, after this, I will be able to slash out those people whom I didn't deem worthy of my time and will choose from the top two that will be chosen, of course I will recruit them myself.
Though I am fond of ladies, that doesn't mean I don't have prestige with the boys so it will be fine.
Thinking so, I immediately reached my office to just wait for Chrysaor to pass the names of the potential teachers to me, take note that this teachers have a dream of becoming militants, so being near me, someone who have a high amount of power in the military is near them, they will think that they might have a chance to become one, so I am always confident about recruiting them.
As I was thinking of that and entered my room, a red haired guy who usually have a sharp gaze but now have a worried looking one is in the side of the room, like a loyal servant in the shadow, he patiently waited for me in the corner of my room.
The only troubling aspect is his, Vega's expression that showing that he is worried about something.
"Ah..."
It seems like he is in a daze and didn't noticed my arrival, he was jolted upon my arrival and bowed respectfully in front of me in quite the haste, I ignored his shocked demeanor and immediately sat on my seat.... Now, what's this subordinate of mine have in his mind. (Pun intended)
"U-uhm...."
He called out to me but seem to be hesitating to do so, he tried to reach my shoulder but draw back his hand and once again just stared at me with worried expression painted all over his face.
I can't help but frown and decided to pretend that I am in the middle of something, I glossed through the piled of document that I already finished earlier and immediately went into the "diligent boss that doesn't want to be disturbed" persona, I took a little glance at him and once again looked at the document in my hand.
"Say it quickly, I don't have all time in the world to wait for your words."
He, once again is jolted and opened his mouth, he closed and opened his mouth that I was contemplating if I just have to punch him and spit out his worries, but he thankfully finally opened his mouth, saying.
"Loki-sama, I think that you should reconsider your decision about me leading your assassination unit."
I stopped reading the document in hand and placed it down in the table as I looked at him with my two crimson eyes. So that's his worries, now I know.
"Why?"
He looked at me with his also red colored eyes, different from mine, his eyes that at this moment lost its sharpness and a worried... Or rather doubtful glimmer is the only thing visible.
"Well, you see, Loki-Sama. I am an assassin from the Devil Race and those bunch are from the human race, so if you make me lead them, someone who doesn't have that much experience like Tsukaiza-Sensei, then their will be problems to occur, so..."
I looked at him and listened to his excuse, no I mean, if you think about it, its really logical right? After all, this world have many races and racial barrier is unconsciously built between them. For example, my Race have soldiers that can be an all rounder because of the Forest of Death, however humans have to divide the workload of scouting and main battlefield fighting because of the limits of the human body.
So all in all, his excuse doesn't really have any kind of flaws whatsoever, it seems like its well thought, the only flaw is that I am the one whom he said that lie with, so he might as well have a headband in his head saying "I am lying!" and it won't make a difference.
I let out a sigh and replied.
"I see, that's a pretty good excuse, then mind telling me the truth?"
I made my chair face him and placed my elbows in the desk looking at his eyes with mine, he looked at me with a shocked expression and seem to just give up, he lowered his head and clench his fist, some nerves started to bulge out in the front of his palm, he didn't looked at me in the eyes and just looked at the floor like all of his hope was crushed.
I can't help but sigh, and immediately talked to grab his attention.
"Sigh... You won't tell me the truth? Then let me be the one to tell it for you."
He glanced at me with a little shocked expression, astonished and a little doubtful if I can grab the truth without him speaking it out.
"You, in the rest of your life was thought about the Seven Rulers, how strong are they and how can they bring cataclysmic damage if they went to a war, something that happened hundred of years ago."
A paused for a while and let my words sink into him.
"However, because you didn't witnessed it yourself, you did not believed it, you ended up challenging one of them and got mercilessly defeated and now you're hesitating because you are doubtful of yourself if you have the ability to contend to the people of the other Rulers given that you have seen the power of one of them and you also know the power of my strongest subordinate. Right?"
He gave me a glance and once again looked in the ground.
"Yes.."
With a little nod he replied, I then continued.
"So do you want to keep your position? Or do you want to be relieved? Ophiuchus, for one didn't mind your decision either way, though..."
He looked at me as I say those words, I didn't mind and ignored his look and continued.
"Doubting oneself is doubting the person whom trusted you."
Silence, long silence only accompanied by his rattling eyes and bated breath is heard for a second, in that second, I nor him made a word and just stared at each other, after another second, I immediately broke the silence as I spoke.
"So? What's your decision? Will you take your job? Or will you leave it? The choice is yours."
His eyes, who have doubts just a moment ago is now filled with determination as if his worries didn't even existed in the first place and looked at me with his resolute eyes.
"I will take it. And will prove, that you, My Lord, is right, about trusting me."
