I Am Peter Parker (MARVEL AU)

I have no recollection of how I ceased to be. One minute I was walking back home and the next minute I was suddenly inside the body of a character from my childhood fantasy. I had become a lost soul. Wandering without a purpose late in my life, when I was alive. My death came and swept me away in a flash. Now that I have this second chance, I won't hold myself back. I am Peter Parker and, this is my story. ------ Note: Alternate Universe(s) Disclaimer: I do not own Marvel or any of it's character. I own my own elements and my OC(s).

Avengers: Spider-Monarch

"Kindly... Do not resist." Spider-Man smirked as he nonchalantly cast a look at Loki before looking down at the teary-eyed Natasha as he helped her up. "Hello, beautiful."

"I... I thought you'd never come." Natasha grinned through her tears as Spider-Man smiled ignoring the now fuming Loki who was brandishing his scepter.

"And yet, here I am." Spider-Man replied as he gestured towards himself as Natasha chuckled. "Sorry I am late-"

"All of this mushy stuff makes me sick!" Loki snarled loudly interrupting Spider-Man as he shot a beam towards Spider-Man who just raised his hand and a runic barrier surrounded him and Natasha. The beam struck the barrier but could not penetrate it and instead was reflected back at Loki, whose eyes widened as it struck him in the face sending him tumbling back.

"-but as they say." Spider-Man continued as he looked up at Loki who got up, caressing his cheek, and grinned. "Better late than never."

Spider-Man dismissed the barrier and Loki reacted quickly and used the opportunity to fire another beam. The beam sailed past Natasha causing her to cover her eyes but before it could it Spider-Man, he vanished with a flash of black-red lightning.

"What-"

"Looking for someone shithead?" Loki felt the hair on his neck stand as he heard a voice whisper into his ear from behind and he reacted quickly, jabbing the spearhead ahead intending to stab Spider-Man but he hit nothing but the air as he flashed away quicker than he could react. "On your left."

Loki heard his voice again and reacted even quicker this time but he was fooled again as Spider-Man appeared on his right hand with his hand cocked back.

*Boom!*

Loki was ill-prepared as Spider-Man's knuckles impacted with the right side of his face with such force that he was almost sent flying off the rooftop. The only thing that stopped him from doing so was Spider-Man himself as he webbed his feet and pulled him back and grabbed him by the neck.

"Y-You damned cretin!" Loki hissed as he tried to free himself from Spider-Man's vice grip but Spider-Man just smirked, the pattern on his mask shifting to resemble a savage demonic grin. "I am a God!"

Spider-Man pulled Loki toward his face and they both came face to face. Loki used the opportunity to grab Spider-Man throat as well but Spider-Man was unbothered as he increased the grip around Loki's neck causing him to almost suffocate.

"And I am your Monarch."

Spider-Man said in a low barren tone as he looked past him and saw hordes of Chitauri rushing towards the tower. Courtesy of Loki of course, who flashed him a smirk of his own but Spider-Man was not worried.

"I have no lord! And you will all fall before me!" Loki hissed back as Spider-Man hummed.

"If you say so, milord." Spider-Man said mockingly as he pulled his head back and headbutted Loki in the face so hard that he was forced to take a knee before Spider-Man as he cradled his broken. Spider-Man raised his hand as runes surrounded his wrists. "To prove you wrong, please alloweth me to demonstrate by prowess as I massacre and butcher your army single-handedly. But first-"

*Snap!*

Spider-Man snapped his finger giving Natasha a last look before she along with all the civilians as well as the heroes vanished and then appeared a few hundred meters away from the active battlefield.

"-let's get rid of anything that would interrupt us." Spider-Man said as Loki gawked as Spider-Man casually demonstrated a huge magical feat.

"W-Who... Who the hell are you?" Loki asked as Spider-Man smirked walking towards the ledge of the building.

"What? Getting scared already?" Spider-Man asked looking over his shoulder as lighting covered his hands as he buckled his feet. "Kick back and watch, after all..."

"I'm just getting started."

*Boom!*

Spider-Man launched himself in the air and towards a Leviathan as he cocked his hand back. The sparks of lightning turned into a hail of demonic thunderstorms contained in his fists as he struck the Leviathan.

*Boom!*

*Crash!*

Spider-Man's punch was devastation as the frontal half of the behemoth almost evaporated upon impact. The shockwave of the punch had shattered the windows of the building nearby and Spider-Man was going to put them to good use. Losing altitude, Spider-Man waved his hands as the shattered glass transformed into sharpened lances and shot toward the Chitauri chariots, chasing and impaling them as if they were homing missiles as Spider-Man vaulted using them as a jungle gym cutting through the mundane masses of cannon fodder.

Spider-Man kicked an Elite Chitauri of its Chariot as he grabbed its neck and slammed it into the ground as his lances shot out of his back and one of them impaled the squirming alien underneath him in its face putting it into a state of indefinite rest.

"Rahhh!" Spider-Man turned his head as dozens and dozens of Chitauri Elite landed on the ground near him and snarled at him as they brandished a plethora of weapons at the man and yet-

-the man just smirked like a maniac as his suit around his hand shifted and a jet-black greatsword materialized in his hand. Spider-Man twirled the sword as he transitioned into a one-handed inside stance.

"Come to get cut." Spider-Man beaconed as the aliens rushed at him. Smacking the first one that leaped at him with a backhand, he stepped ahead as he kicked the second one in the chest sending it back with a boom as it crashed into more of its incoming brethren as lances of glass fell from the sky and impaled them.

Swinging to the left he dissected three in a single slash, he spun on his heel smacking the leg of a Chitauri as it fell to the ground on its back. It wasn't able to get up, as Spider-Man stomped its head in, turning it into a mush of matter and fluid before he used the blunt side of the blade to hit a Chitauri axeman in the head, causing it to explode upon impact.

He then raised his leg and stomped the ground so hard that the created a huge crater and the now unstable group began to shake as black flames burst out from the cracks hungrily devouring most of the Chitauri Elites in a matter of seconds.

"Grrrrr!" A Chitauri swordsman rushed at Spider-Man who canceled his spell as he twirled his sword as he waited for the Chitauri to step within his striking zone.

*Clank!*

As soon as the Chitauri was within the hitting distance, it slashed toward Spider-Man, intending to claim his head but Spider-Man had other ideas. With a nonchalant twirl of his wrist, he intercepted the attack and redirected it to the ground. Stepping on the head of the blade that was lodged into the ground, Spider-Man brandished the talons of his left hand and slashed at the Elites face.

The unexpected blow from the talons coated with poison caused its mask to melt and merge with its wounded face, the Elite shrieked in pain trying to pry the mask off its face as Spider-Man used the opportunity to land the killing blow.

With a straight stab, Spider-Man pierced through the alien's exposed throat cavity, and the alien lost its life almost immediately. Stepping on its foot, he flicked the blade as he slashed upwards splitting its head in half.

Looking at the last Elite Axeman Spider-Man simply tilted his head as the creature hissed stepping backward before it tucked its tail and began running away for a 'tactical retreat'. As amused as Spider-Man was at the hilarious sight of a giant, heavily armored Chitauri running away from him like a bitch, it wasn't a reason enough for him to spare its miserable life.

And Spider-Man made his intentions evident as he raised his left and webbed the Elite's back, stopping it dead in its track.

"Get over here." Spider-Man said he gripped the web and yanked the Elite back towards him as he raised his sword. The Elite flew back at an incredible speed and even with all its thrashing, it wasn't able to preserve its life as it was impaled on the blade of the sword. Kicking the Elite of his sword Spider-Man looked down at the dead creature as he hoisted the blade over his shoulder. "There is no escaping me."

*Roar!*

"Hmm?"

Spider-Man hummed to himself in wonder as a deafening roar rang out from above. He looked up and realized he was directly below the portal and that the latest entry from the portal was a matter of moderate attention.

It was a giant Leviathan but unlike a normal Leviathan this was much larger and more armored but the most peculiar thing about it was the throne on its back and the figure that was sitting on the throne. It was a Chitauri but unlike the regular ones, this one was much bigger, was fully armored, had six hands and there was a giant broadsword in its hand.

"Helen?" Spider-Man called out, connecting the line to Cho who was in the HQ she responded almost immediately.

"Yes, Peter."

"Are you seeing this?" He asked as he watched the Behemoth descend downwards. "The king is out of his throne room."

"I have a visual on him." Helen responded. "How do we proceed?"

"I'll clip his wings, keep him engaged on the ground. Deploy the SPARTAN XII and send them into the portals." Spider-Man instructed. "Plunder the mothership. I want a full analysis on the structure of the ship as well as a sample of all and any tech we can get our hands on."

"Roger. Deploying XIIs, will keep you posted Peter."

"Great." Spider-Man replied. "Also, please try to make it as quick as you can..."

"Otherwise I might just get bored with my new toy."

------

"The hell just happened..." Steve muttered to himself, as he like several others shook his head to clear the dizziness as he picked himself up. Looking around, he noticed that he was in a different surrounding than he was just a moment ago.

"Look, mom! It's Spider-Man!" A kid from the crowd yelled as she saw Spider-Man's crest on one of the many billboards. "He came! He came to save us-"

"S-Sweetie! Let's go! We gotta get out!" Her father said as he grabbed her by the wrist as he rushed in the opposite direction of the battlefield along with his wife. And he wasn't the only one, most of the rescued citizens were running away from the portal while a group of Spider-Man's over fans stayed to watch and stare in awe as their idol tore down into the hordes of extraterrestrials.

"Spider-Man..." Cap muttered to himself clenching his fists as he glared at the billboards. "What the hell has he been doing all this time-"

"Waiting." A voice called out from behind him startling Captain along with his peers except for Natasha who was still staring at the Portal and Tony who was on the ground with his suit being out of power. Turning around he noticed that it was none other than Ghost along with his team. "Captian, he was waiting."

"Jen..." Hulk muttered to himself as Jennifer spotted him and flashed him a small sad smile. He began walking towards her but she held her hand up and shook her head as he stopped. She flashed him a small smile as she mouthed 'later' to him.

"You again? You are working for him, aren't you? Should have known that." Steve scoffed to himself as he stepped towards him and got into Ghost's face. "And what was he waiting for? For more people to get hurt before he could swoop in and save them-"

"Exactly." Ghost said cutting him off surprising Steve and Thor.

"What?" Steve hissed gritting his fist. He was about to open his mouth and lash out but froze all of a sudden as he felt a barrel of a gun against the underside of his chin.

"I said it is as exactly as you think it is." Ghost repeated. "He waited until the last moment, let you have a shot at the God which you blew up in epic proportions before he decided to step in to save you all. Is this how you are going to thank your hero,-"

"-Captain?"

"He isn't any goddamn hero! Do you have any idea just how many people have-"

"That's the point." It was Frank who him this time. "That's his point. He isn't a hero and his days of needing to save the people are over. The same people who were marching and rallying against him for months and months without a shred of gratefulness. This is his point, he wanted to show you all just how powerless you are and why the world needs him. Because as much as you would hate to admit it, Spider-Man does a better job at keeping the world clean of its filth."

"All he does is murder-"

"And are you any different, Rogers?" Ghost asked in a low voice Steve froze as he felt the barrel poke his throat. "You are a soldier, Rogers. You should be the last person pointing fingers at others."

"I... All I did was my job-"

"And so are we." Ghost replied as he shoved Cap back. "And so you better stay put and let us do ours."

"What are you doing?" Thor asked as he readied his hammer ready to attack them if needed. He was surprised as his hands were webbed together in an instant causing him to look up. Crouched over a light pole was Ghost-Spider who casually waved at him.

"Retreating." Ghost said as he turned around.

"What?! In the middle of the battle?!" Steve asked in disbelief as Ghost looked over his shoulder.

"The war is over, Captain." He said as he looked at the portal. "This now... This is a massacre."

"Your Spider-Man is all but one man." Thor said as he broke out of the webs without much effort as Ghost-Spider shrugged to herself looking at Wraith who just snickered.

"And he is enough." Frank said. "This is his fight and it would be good for you to stay out of it. Trust me, you don't want to get caught in the crossfire."

"This is Loki we are talking about! He is no ordinary man! As wretched as he is, he is still a God and he is Asgard's-"

"Your Loki is all but a dead man walking for a short time." Ghost said as Thor narrowed his eyes. "Spider-Man is going take care of him, so you better-"

"-stay out of his way."

"Do you have any idea who you are talking to-"

"I won't repeat myself again." Ghost said as he pointed his gun at Steve who tensed as the barrel lit up.

*Bang!*

Steve closed his eyes and brought his hands up to brace for the impact but it never came as Ghost shot the lying Iron Man.

The bullet let out an electric discharge upon impact which jumpstarted his suit as he groaned getting up.

"Finally! Someone noticed me!" Tony said as Deadpool giggled to himself.

"I know the feeling very well buddy." Deadpool giggled to himself but then became depressed all of a sudden.

"This is my warning Captain. What you do now, it's up to you." Ghost said as he nodded at his teammates as they began walking away and into a portal.

"Are you scanning this Jarvis?" Tony muttered to himself.

"I'm trying to, Sir." Jarvis replied.

"Remember Captain." Ghost called out once again as he looked over his shoulder. "Not all lives are worth saving."

"I'll see you later, Bruce." Jen waved at him. Hulk raised his hands towards her but stopped as he looked at her smile. "I'll find you later, goodbye."

"Jen..." Hulk muttered to himself, lowering his hand. Closing his eyes he grunted to himself as he began to power down into Banner.

"Here! Take this." Barton removed his long coat and covered Bruce's body as he grunted shaking his head off Hulk's influence.

"What... What do we do now?" Bruce asked as Tony hummed to himself.

"We do..." Tony began to throw around different ideas in his head but ultimately he decided to do- " Nothing."

"What?" Steve asked as his faceplate opened and he saw Tony shrug his question off.

"Nothing. I mean, there isn't much we can do now that Spider-Man's here. The civilians are out, the fight is being contained in some sort of a barrier that's stopping the Chitauri from escaping the city, and he is wrecking them inside." Tony summed it up before he raised an eyebrow. "What can we do now?"

"Stark there is still Loki and the Tesseract." Steve argued as Stark rolled his eye as he sat on a slab of broken concrete. "We need to-"

"Neither of them is my concern anymore." Tony said as he waved it off. "Loki is as good as a dead man just like the Ghostface said and well regarding Tesseract... I'll rather let Spider-Man have it than give it back to someone like Fury. He seems like a smart guy, would probably borrow a couple of notes from him for my next armor but that's a different thing altogether."

"Tesseract belongs to Asgard!" Thor interrupted him as Tony just smiled to himself amused. "My father swore to protect-"

"And he did a marvelous job." Tony said as he clapped. "Here! Applause for you and your old man! Such a great job that the first time it fell into a red face Nazi's hand and the second time it fell into the hands of a one-eyed peeping Tom!"

"..."

"What? He peeps into our personal life without our permission-"

"That's not the point."

"Captain, please." Tony said as he shook his head. "I am exhausted, my suit is barely working, and in case you haven't noticed. My workshop and armory are currently being used as an intergalactic torchlight. Besides, Miss Barton and Romanoff are also exhausted and tired."

"Fuck you, Stark." Clint said as chuckled at the 'Miss' comment.

"Whatever, 'Clit'." Tony joked as Natasha chuckled taking a seat beside Tony and Barton joined them.

"This isn't time for jokes, Tony." Steve said Tony shook his head.

"No, it's time for you to put that Shield away and join the rest of us here." Tony said as Steve looked at him before picking up his Shield and walking towards the battlefield. "Or... You can ignore my warning and go do your own thing. I'm sure you can do this all day."

"I can." Steve said as Thor scoffed looking at Tony.

"You are a joke, Stark" He said as Tony looked around.

"Says the man wearing a cape." Tony retorted. "Im not being selfish this time 'Mr God', I am being smart. Spider-Man is out of your league let alone mine, Barton's, Natasha's or even that old man in stripes and stars."

"We shall see that." Thor said as he wiped the blood off his lips and walked away with Steve but the both of them stopped in their tracks as they heard a loud roar.

*Roar!*

Following the deafening roar was a huge Leviathan and in its back was the Chitauri King and following then was the last of the Chitauri army and they were many in numbers.

Looking at the sky, Steve couldn't help but curse despite himself.

"Son of a bitch."

------

"XIIs in the ship. You are free to engage." Susan who was now back at the HQ said over the Comms as Spider-Man nodded with a smirk.

"Well..." Spider-Man twirled his bald and shifted and transformed into a spear. Spider-Man pulled his hand back, lighting crackling around his hand and the spear as he prepared to launch it. "Let's get the bastard down."

"Fall."

*Boom!*

*Whoosh!*

The spear broke through the sound barrier, cutting through the air and gaining such speed and velocity that it transformed into a black-red streak of kinetic energy before it hit the Leviathan.

*Boom!*

The spear tore through the Leviathan like a hot knife through the butter. The Leviathan began expanding as it then suddenly exploded into bits throwing the Chitauri King off its Throne and onto the ground below.

The Chitauri King weaved through the falling debris, the remains of his magnificent chariot as he dived towards his sword. Gripping the handle of the blade, he rolled ahead as he landed on the ground, burying his sword in the ground and releasing a shockwave that blasted everything within a certain distance away clearing the ground but Spider-Man just stood there unflinching.

Removing his sword from the ground he slashed toward the sky causing the blade of the sword to release a crescent projectile of energy that vaporized the falling rubble.

"You are strong..." The creature hissed as Spider-Man raised an eyebrow, impressed that the alien was able to comprehend and even speak English. "Lord Thanos will be pleased with your head..."

"I'm sorry, but I don't blow dudes."

"..."

"And I certainly don't blow, purple panini heads."

"..."

"Ahh, forget it." Spider-Man waved it off as the creature looked at him confused. "Just tell your lord to fuck off."

"Insolence..." The Chitauri King growled as it rushed at Spider-Man, brandishing its blade.

Spider-Man raised his hand as there Spear which was still sailing away in the sky, suddenly slowed, stopped, and turned around as it rushed back toward the arms of it's rightful owner.

Spider-Man smirked as the spear twirled entering his line-of-sight as it began to shift before turning into a broadsword as it approached him. Grabbing the handle of the blade, Spider-Man spun on his heel and used the momentum to intercept the killing blow that the Chitauri King intended to land on his torso.

*Clang!*

Metal clashing against metal generated a loud clang that could rattle a normal man's eardrums but neither the Chitauri King nor Spider-Man were bothered as they both started at each other, blades locked, eyes glowing with intent to slaughter the other.

"For you to kill me, you'll have to defeat me first and let me clue you in on something lizard face." Spider-Man smirked as the patterns on his mask shifted to resemble a demonic smirk.

"That's out of your league."
