Team vs Darkseid

The man sent a seemingly ordinary slap towards Orin who was still distracted by the earlier fight and was soon sent flying back into the depths of the sea causing a huge wave to pop up.

Nathan immediately prepared for battle after all he had been expecting him to join the battle. The New Gods were so Arrogant that they had simply waited for each attacking enemy to be eliminated before they can attack as though it was some turn based fight or something.

[Lets test that out] Nathan answered as they both charged at each other

Kalibak may seem extremely powerful but he was nowhere near his father, Uxas aka Darkseid.

Kalibak was strong but that was because of a mixture of his New god physiology and his massive size even when compared to other New Gods.

His massive size, however, made him slower than the average New God but he made up for it with a club that can dish out ranged attacks.

Nathan easily dodged his charged but was caught up in some sort of electrical field erected by his club.

Without any hesitation or so, Nathan hacked into the club, he was using medieval weapons so it would make sense for his enemy to do so.

Escaping the net made by Kalibak, Nathan didn't wait for the beast to understand what had happened, he immediately went in for the attack bashing the man with his shield thus making him lose balance in the air and following up immediately with a fury of punches to the throat then it's face.

As much as Nathan would love to kill him at this moment and get rid of one of the many enemies he would have in future but if he had learnt anything about Darkseid in his years of watching all the series and reading some of the comics, he knew that despite Uxas's hard front, the man was still a family man.

He may use family to get what he needs and his sense of love is twisted but even the devil reacted when Jesus was killed.

if he does kill Kalibak then Darkseid could decide to unleash instant destruction on the planet and then there was truly nothing stopping him.

If he was sent back to Apokalips and sees it thrashed, he would be angry but he wouldn't attack until he had rebuilt and Darkseid likes to do things slowly.

That meant that Earth gets about 5-10 years of peace…. well at least peace from Darkseid but if he kills Kalibak then Earth goes bye bye so instead, Nathan opened a boom tube below the falling man and sent him back to Apokalips.

They could choose to return instantly but they wouldn't dare to when Darkseid hadnt given the order so he was in the safe zone now it was to deal with the main person.

A bit further from where he fought Kalibak, Nathan could see Superman, Wonder Woman and Aquaman giving Darkseid the dry biscuit special….. well not exactly... They were barely holding up.

Nathan saw Darkseid with just a mere slap, send Aquaman flying into the city that was almost 20 kilometers away.

Using the chance provided, Superman immediately flew to the being's back, kicking his knee

This caused Darkseid to kneel and Superman used the chance to grab hold of his neck in an attempt to perform a lock.

It wasn't working but thankfully, they didn't need it to be successful.

Using the giving opening, Wonder Woman pulled her sword from Darkseid's left eye and in a fluid motion, blinded his other eye.

Nathan couldn't understand why Darkseid didn't just pull out the sword that looked more like a toothpick when compared to him and heal his eye but Nathan was happy after all everything was indeed going his way.
