42. Our Magical Moment

Then I went to Drek and wished him -" Happy birthday Drek."

He said to me -" You are looking sexy tonight sister-in-law."

" Oh please Drek not you."

" You are not looking fine... what's wrong."

" I don't know."

I really don't know what's wrong with me why am I avoiding him. Its not like we fought or something I don't know why.

He again coming towards me so I excused myself but this time he moved faster and hold my wrist and pulled me towards him. But before he say anything spot light dropped on us. we both were looking at each other eyes and everything turned silent because everyone want looking at us. we both were so emersed in each other eyes that for us time was running slow. Everything moving slowly. This all feels like a magical moment for both of us.

Mom was saying something in the mic which we really don't understand. Then in our magical world the romantic music started playing. He first held my waist then held my hand. Our fingers intertwined and we started dancing in a waltz style. I was feeling like a princess and dancing with my prince. This was the first time he danced with me. we both danced on the whole song and when the song was finished everyone applauded for us. we both bowed and say our thank you to everyone.

Then he again held my wrist and took me to the corner. There was no one. He pushed me lightly to the wall and put his one hand on the wall besides my head and his another hand snaked from my wrist to shoulder.

Then he asked me sincerely -" Why are you avoiding me Alexa."

I looked at him for some time. He was waiting for my answer but I don't have answer to it because I also don't know why was I doing this. I can't control my emotion at that moment and hugged him tightly and buried my face in his chest. I feel comfortable like this... his smell was very comforting.

I raised my head and looked at him. my eyes turned wet and I said to him -" I don't know.. I really don't know." my tears started dripping.

He held my face in his hands and wipped my tears from his thumbs. I was still holding his waist then he kissed me on my head and said -" Because you are not yourself tonight." he paused then again said -" This is not you. This is not my Alexa."

His Alexa ....its sounded strange but I like it then I asked him -" Then who is your Alexa."

He hugged me and run his hand through my hair. Then he said -" My Alexa.... she's different ....she's cute..... she's silly..... and her heart was pure ....her best quality is that she knows how to win others heart. That's my Alexa."

I was feeling touched that I started crying. He said -" I didn't say all this things for making you cry."

I looked at him and said -" I did all this to impress you but I messed all of this."

" Why do you need to do this."

" I wanted to show you that I can seduce you but its all go in vain."
