Chapter 9

Odetta

   I was marvelled at what he just said. But i didn't judge him for it we all had our past. I have my own past too. His father was a wicked man. He deserved all wicked things that happened to him and his queen was equally wicked. The only innocent people in the story is him and his mom. I don't know how it feels to be neglected but i know it feels horrible. After my parents died i felt so lonely. My necklace never glowed again after that night. There have been so many times I wanted it to glow let me just hear their voice it never did so i know how it feels in a way. And what he said was true the bond has been pushing me to come clean but I can't he is an hybrid and I a tribrid. What type of children would we have? His he even going to accept me? I can not tell him now. I have to clear the council then I will come clean. If after that he doesn't accept me then i just go my separate way. But for now I just can't.

'Hey, what are you thinking' Orion broke me off my thoughts.

'I do not judge you Orion for what happened everyone has their own ugly past you know? I said. And he nod looking into the pond.

'I just wish my mother was alive you know? I don't even know what she looked like was she tall, was she short, was she petite or was she robust. I know nothing the only thing father said was she was beautiful and that is all' he said with no emotions but i can tell he is sad. I don't know why but i feel like he is sad. So i hug him i place my face in his neck. I could feel the sparks and bond moving in happiness at the contact. He wrapped his arms around my waist. Our legs still in the pond.

'Thank you for not judging me' he said holding me tighter. The sparks was flying.

'You feeling that' i asked. He laughed.

'Yes I am, I guess what people say about the mate bond is true' he said. I smiled 

'I guess it is' i said pulling back but not before kissing his neck. He shivered. 

'Oh my lord big bad demon has a sensitive neck!' I said while laughing. He made a face which made me laugh harder. I was holding my stomach with tears coming out of my eye. I felt something cold on my face i stopped laughing. Oh no he didn't.

'Did you just splash water on my face? I asked in a scary voice. He looked terrified i wanted to laugh so bad but kept it in.

'Um…i..umm I…' then i cast a spell that splashed lot of water on his face. He looks so shocked, you should have seen his face he was so shocked. I laugh harder.

'Ah! Got yo..  Oh my lord!!' He splashed me and used his power to make me cold. I stood up then ran then i started casting spells splashing water on this face. If he knew that i was a water elemental it would have been more easy. I continue splashing him giggling. Then he stood up and try to block my water from his face.

'Odet! Stop!' he yelled running around. I laugh more.

'No! You started it' i said still splashing him. Then he ran towards me then carried me up. He spin me around. I giggled with my hands in the air and my eyes closed.

King Orion

   She looks so beautiful like an angel. Her giggle is so beautiful. It sounds like a beautiful melody. I have never been this happy in my entire life. I feel like the happiest man in the kingdom. I stopped spinning her then i rest her back on the wall and kissed her. Her lips are cold but her mouth is so warm. I enjoy kissing my mate. I don't know how long we kissed but when i pulled back her lips was pink and plump.

'You made us all wet, if the guards see me like this they will never respect me' i said putting my forehead on her.

'you are a air elemental right do your thing' she said.

'I can't I do not use my air element it will be hard to use' i replied.

'You used your air element to make the water on my face cold. Connect with your element then command it to blow warm air, it will dry us up' she said. I took a deep breath and search for my element inside of me. It was a little hard finding it but I found it, I mentally touched it then the globe surrounding it broke. I felt a rush of air on my body. I didn't lose concentration. I mentally twirl the air, the air i was feeling was a cold. I commanded the air to be warm then I felt warm breeze. I could feel my inside and body warm. I opened my eyes I was shocked.

'Lords what happened!' I yelled. My mate was on the floor the whole garden was destroyed the flowers were destroyed. I quickly ran to my mate and help her up.

'You must be a very powerful air elemental. The breeze was to much everything was flying the breeze carried me and threw me on the floor. It was a cold breeze then suddenly it was very warm it hit my cloth and yours. Then everything cooled down. You have been standing in that spot for some time. I tried to get your attention. Then i figured you were unlocking your powers. It has been locked for a long time' she said. I have been for some time?, it felt like a minite.

'But it feels like a minute, what you said about my elenent is true, my element was surrounded by a globe, how do you know?  I asked. She looked around maybe nervously?

'Umm I just know' she said not looking at me.

'This garden is a mess let me fix it' she said. Then she lift her hands and cast a spell. The garden went back to is original state.

'Nice, looks like I am not the only powerful one here' i said teasing her. She laughed.

'Oh please all witches or warlock can do that nothing surprising' she said looking at me.

'Okay come let's leave the garden, I am suddenly hungry, the palace has berries right? She asked.

'Yes, we get them transported. And now i know why you always taste like berry' i said. We were heading to the kitchen.

'Oh yes i love berries' she said. We got to the kitchen. The maids bow. I waved my hands.

'Head maid Florence' i called out.

'Yes your majesty' she said running out to come meet us. She bow.

'prepare some food for I and my mate, have it placed in the king and queen dinning and make sure you add in some berries' i said.

'Okay your majesty, will our soon to be queen be needing her own personal room your majesties'  she asked still bowing. 

'No, but I need you to run down to the market and buy fine clothes for your queen, call lady Anastasia to come and measure her for some clothes, I said 

'Okay your majesty' she said. I nod. Then odetta and I headed to my bedroom.

'I noticed you were not with any luggage, and I wish to stay close with my mate. Is that okay with you? I asked.

'You already made the decision right so i will go with it, but next time discuss with me first' she said. I nod and agreeing with her.
