Sarutobi Hiruzen was in a state of extreme confusion and shock for a while, unable to snap out of it.

I've made it clear, but I still don't understand why he's not getting it!

At this moment, Sarutobi Hiruzen really wanted to yell at Shimura Danzo.

But he knew he couldn't do that because Danzo was the Third Hokage, the leader of Konoha.

Their roles were different now; he couldn't just treat Danzo the same way he used to.

"Sarutobi? What's wrong? Are you feeling okay?" Danzo asked, looking concerned.

Sarutobi Hiruzen's face looked twisted, as if he was really upset.

"I get it, you're happy for Homura, right?" Danzo continued. "It's great that he's the captain of Anbu now. We're all students under the same teacher, after all."

Danzo smiled, clearly pleased. If he could, he would have laughed out loud.

"Yeah, I'm really happy for Homura. It's a big role," Sarutobi Hiruzen forced a smile that looked more like a grimace.

He had hoped Danzo would understand what he was trying to say, but Danzo completely misinterpreted it.

"Ah, Sarutobi," Danzo said, "I originally wanted you to take this position, but I didn't want to make it seem like I was treating you as my subordinate. We're like brothers, and I didn't want to change that. That's why I gave the position to Homura."

Danzo looked regretful, as if he genuinely wanted Hiruzen to be the captain of Anbu but didn't want to risk their friendship.

Hiruzen's mouth twitched in frustration, and he felt like screaming.

"Relationships don't matter! Why do you think I wouldn't want to be Anbu captain because of our friendship?" he thought angrily. "What's going on in your head, Danzo?"

But he kept smiling on the outside, hiding the storm brewing inside him.

"Relax, Sarutobi! We're still best friends, and I trust you with my life on the battlefield," Danzo said, patting Hiruzen on the shoulder before leaving the office.

Left alone, Hiruzen fumed silently. "Damn you, Danzo! You idiot!" he thought. If they were on the battlefield, he would have attacked Danzo out of sheer frustration.

"Hahaha!!! Sarutobi, oh Sarutobi!! This is too funny!!" Danzo laughed wildly on the edge of the Konoha barrier, thinking about Hiruzen's reaction.

Though he was a professional Hokage, sometimes he just couldn't help but laugh.

"Alright, enough laughing. Let's see what's wrong with the barrier," he muttered, adjusting his mood.

Since Hiruzen had mentioned it, there must be something wrong with Konoha's barrier, otherwise, Hiruzen wouldn't have brought it up.

Danzo stretched out his right hand, and Chakra gathered in his palm, slowly entering the barrier. He knew how to check the barrier's integrity thanks to information left by Senju Tobirama.

"There's a small problem, but it looks like Anbu already fixed it. It still needs strengthening, though," Danzo said to himself.

"I remember Sarutobi Hiruzen had a scouting crystal. How was that made?" Danzo wondered.

The scouting crystal could see every corner of Konoha, which would be incredibly useful for Danzo.

"Konoha's barrier was set up by the Uzumaki clan. I should ask Uzumaki Mito about it. She might know how the crystal works with the barrier."

Determined, Danzo Decided to visit to the Senju clan.

"You want to use the barrier to make a scouting crystal that can observe the whole village?" Uzumaki Mito asked, frowning at Danzo.

Danzo was thrilled to hear this, as it meant it was possible!

"Yes, since I just took over the village and Anbu is short-staffed, the scouting crystal would be very helpful," Danzo nodded.

"I can't do it, but one of my nieces who reinforced Konoha's barrier can. She should be able to help," Mito said, giving Danzo hope.

"Great! Thank you, Mito-sama. I'll send someone to the Land of Whirlpools to invite her," Danzo saidwith seriousness.

"Don't be so hasty. Let me write her a letter to explain, or she might not come," Mito said, smiling and shaking her head.

She began writing a letter, and Danzo admired her handwriting. It was clear and elegant, befitting someone of her stature.

Danzo couldn't help but admire Mito's . Despite being in her mid-thirties, she still looked stunning.

Oblivious to Danzo's thoughts, Mito focused on the letter, putting her heart into each word.

Danzō lay on Hokage Rock, enjoying the breeze on his face. He had hoped to develop a peep.....scouting crystal on his own but found the task too complicated and time-consuming.

"If others have control over this barrier,he won't feel secure," he thought.

It made sense why Konoha didn't protect the fall of the Uzumaki clan but only rescued the next Nine Tails Jinchūriki. With the Uzumaki gone, Konoha wouldn't have to worry about someone else holding the key to their village's defenses.

"The Uzumaki clan's fall is inevitable, and it's better for Konoha if it happens. We should at least save their sealing techniques and scrolls, but the people....it will be decided by time," Danzō mused.

"I didn't expect the Third Hokage to be so lazy," said a beautiful, unfamiliar female voice. 

Curious, Danzō turned around. A woman in a simple black kimono stood there, her long lavender hair flowing down to her waist. Her deep black eyes were mesmerizing, and her skin was as fair as snow.

"Are you from the Uchiha clan?" Danzō asked, surprised.

"Yes, I'm Uchiha Naori, older sister of Uchiha Kagam" she replied with a faint smile.

Danzō was stunned. Uchiha Naori was a legendary figure, the genius behind Izanami, and as renowned as Senju Hashirama and Uchiha Madara.

"Why didn't Kagami ever mention he had such a beautiful sister?" Danzō joked, trying to hide his amazement.

Naori laughed softly, her laughter almost magical. They chatted for a while, and Danzō found her charming and intelligent.

"What's your view of Konoha?" Naori suddenly asked, testing him.

Danzō took a deep breath and looked at the sky. Naori sat beside him, waiting for his answer, hoping to hear something meaningful from the newly appointed Third Hokage.

"Where the leaves fly, the fire burns. The shadow of the fire will shine on the village and sprout new leaves. When you want to protect someone you cherish, the true power of a ninja will be revealed. Just like Sensei protected us, sacrificing himself for the next generation of ninjas," Danzō said slowly.

"This is the will of fire, and this is Konoha. Konoha is a big family, and no one can break it, no matter who it is!"

Naori was stunned. Danzō's words echoed the answer she had been seeking. She looked at him with newfound respect, intrigued by this man who could express such deep thoughts.
