39. The Crowning Ceremony

(April 27th)

Today the whole Morrison family was decorated with lights.

Today was nothing less than a festival for the people of the Morrison Family, because today was the day everyone was patiently waiting for.

Today was the day of the crowning ceremony, where the current patriarch would step down from his seat and his position and their next leader would be chosen.

The whole sky was illuminated by beautiful fireworks and inside a great dome built at the centre of the island all the major members of the Morrison Family were seated on their respective seats.

Due to the tradition not everyone came here today with their family and only those who had the right to vote were the only ones present.

Stephen sat on the largest golden throne and to his nearest of the four silver coloured thrones sat the four candidates for the next seat of the patriarch.

Under the eyes of the non-participants, the candidates arrived one by one and took their seats.

The first one to come was Emma, wearing a beautiful red gown with some golden embroidery she looked absolutely stunning.

Looking at her many sighed in their heart as they were ones she had rejected before.

Her talent and beauty were matched in the clan and all the men of their generation had some thoughts about her, but whoever approached her was brutally rejected.

The next one to come was Ares who wore a black suit with golden embroidery making him look really handsome.

Even though his charm was just C, it was still considered very high on this planet.

Next came Hermes Morrison, one of the strongest men of the Morrison family who is also said to be extremely talented in Business.

Hermes had a lean figure and had an average face.

He was wearing a green suit with golden embroidery and gold rimmed glasses.

And finally, it was a turn for the last of the candidates to come.

A figure entered the hall and all eyes immediately went on him.

Wearing a red suit with golden embroidery which perfectly fitted his huge burly figure.

He was none other than Issac Morrison the 3rd strongest of the Morrison family.

Everyone looked at him with slight pity in their eyes because of the incident with his wife and daughter.

If not for the crowning ceremony in which it was compulsory to attend he would have probably continued his search for his wife and daughter.

The celebration began and everyone chatted and enjoyed the delicious meals, the whole scenario looked so harmonious.

Ares and Elizabeth were the centre of the attention of the whole event as the majority had anticipated their wins.

They both were happy and were chatting with everyone.

Emma was also chatting with her friends and so did Hermes.

While Issac just looked indifferent and only spoke when the others approached him mainly to give him their condolences.

The banquet ended and the main event for which everyone gathered finally began.

Everyone once again sat on their respective seats and all lights went out.

A magic circle began to form below the seats of the four candidates and glowed brightly and similar magic circles began to form in the front of all seated members.

"Let the voting begin!"(Stephen)

Stephen said in a loud authoritative tone and the big event which will decide the future of the Morrison Family began.

As the voting began inside the great Dome, Lucifer stood alone leaning on the guard rail of one of the closed shops by the side of the beach.

He looked at the sea where the reflection of the large full moon could be clearly seen reflecting on the sea water.

The dark night sky without any clouds was illuminated by the full moon who shined in its glory and was accompanied by the stars who like jewels decorated it beautifully.

The bright fireworks began to burst in the sky making everyone who saw it fascinated.

Everything was reflected in the excited sea full of life.

Looking at the scenery a sense of calmness and peace crossed Lucifer's mind who was fascinated by this scenery.

"This scenery never gets old"

Lucifer muttered to himself looking at the beautiful scenery that was unfolding before his eyes.

This was one of the favourite spots of the previous Lucifer on the island.

His body can be seen became a bit more jacked than he previously was, his height has also increased by a few centimetres and hair has became a bit longer.

*Notification*

As Lucifer was enjoying the scenery his phone vibrated and the notification alert rang.

Lucifer looked at the message he got and clicked on the link.

He transferred all 150 million required for the mission in one go to the account requested.

As Lucifer paid the amount another pop up appeared on this screen to which he just glanced once and closed his phone once again.

(Inside the hospital)

"It's so beautiful"

Said a blonde hair girl as she observed the fireworks from the glass wall of the VIP room reserved for Sarah.

She is none other than Ayesha, Sarah's best friend who had just recovered a few weeks ago.

"Yes it is, It would have been better if he was also present"

Said Olga and a drop of tear couldn't help but escape from her eyes.

Hearing Olga's words everyone in the room fell silent and Ayesha who was standing beside her hugged her lightly.

The 'he' in Olga's mouth was none other than Albert who died at the hands of Lucifer.

Olga was Albert's girlfriend and loved him a lot, this is also why she was most depressed about Albert's death.

'Crunch'

A breaking sound rang and both turned their gazes to the fourth member present in the room.

The tall and bulky figure of Atlas sitting quietly on the couch clenched his hands tightly causing the fragile phone in his hands to crumble.

After Olga it was Atlas who was most angry about the death of Albert.

Because of being an awakener his recovery was faster and more easier compared to others so he was quick to get on his legs.

He had accepted the death of his best friend and was angry at Lucifer but more on himself thinking he wasn't able to protect his best friend.

From the moment he woke up he didn't take any breaks and just practiced crazily causing his bulky body to gain more muscles and become stronger.

Seeing their both reactions Ayesh couldn't help but sigh in frustration.

She was also sad about Albert's death and angry at Lucifer she didn't lose control over her emotions and is trying to take care of both of them until Sarah woke up.

Looking at her best friend who is still in coma even after so many months have passed she was also on the verge of breaking into tears but controlled herself for her other friends who still needed her support.

As she was helping Olga lighten up her emotions she felt a strong mana fluctuation in the air and felt the temperature of the room rising.

Yes she could sense the mana in the air as she had also awakened a month ago.

Not only Ayesha but Atlas also felt a strong mana fluctuation and quickly took a defensive stance.

They both looked at the source of this fluctuation and looked behind their back only to see the figure of Sarah levitating in the air with her hair waving wildly in the air.

The bed she was resting on lit up on the fire and a red aura covered her whole body.

'She's awakening'

This thought ran in all three of their minds as they saw Sarah's awakening unfold before their eyes.

Normally any awakening wouldn't be like this but some once in a millennium geniuses when awaken triggers these mysterious phenomena.

All of them who awaken like this are considered geniuses and are sure to become a great figure.

Sensing the fire the sensors rang the fire alarm and the extinguishers started to do their job of extinguishing the fire.

The whole place was soon covered with steam making both Ayesha and Atlas unable to see anything clearly.

The fire was extinguished and the steam began to get clear and looking at the scene in front of them all three of Atlas, Olga and Ayesha were dumbfounded.

A beautiful girl who stood in front of them with her gorgeous pink hair was still waving madly.

She was still wearing the blue gown but it wasn't enough to hide her voluptuous curves.

A red aura still surrounded her body and eyes glowing with red colour.

She looked fabulous but terrifying at the same time.

The pressure she emitted made all three of them terrified and they couldn't help but gulp looking at her like this.

Sarah Morrison has awakened.

Sorry for not uploading I'm really very busy with my studies now and am not allowed to write much for a few months.

I had finished writing volume one completely but...I felt something off so I am rewriting it once again so it would take a bit more of time sorry but yes next time I will upload it would be a mass release for sure I promise and you know I keep them.
