A secret between three

Five days had passed since Raziel achieved his second mana circle, and he had already noticed significant changes in his spells. They had become more powerful, with a slight reduction in the time it took to cast them.

Moreover, two days ago, Raziel made an incredible discovery. When he picked up some basic spell books from the Revery Magical Library, a few were of different elements that theoretically should have had low compatibility with his two primary elements.

Even though low compatibility with an element doesn't mean a mage can't use it, practicing spells of an element with low compatibility will consume much more mana and take longer to master compared to a mage with high compatibility with that element.

For this reason, the most prestigious families with powerful mages were renowned for their mastery of two or three specific elements.

The Harvestead family, for example, was known for their mages' high compatibility with the earth and water elements, with a particular focus on earth.

Knowing this, Raziel decided to master earth first and then focus on water. However, during his training in the academy's private room, he tried casting spells from different elements out of curiosity and discovered that he could easily cast basic spells across various elements.

The elements he tested were wind, water, fire, ice, light, and even darkness, and all of them worked remarkably well without any issues.

At first, Raziel thought the results were due to the spells being too weak. But, when he asked Clarice to try using a basic fire spell, her least compatible element, she could only create a very small fireball after reciting the incantation ten times, consuming a quarter of her mana reserve.

In his case, he could create a fireball with a radius of one meter on his first try, using only a small amount of mana.

Finding a mana user with so many compatibilities was impossible. Even the strongest mage on the Éden continent, who has six mana circles, has compatibility with only three elements.

This meant Raziel's potential was on another level. Coupled with his capacity to use aura, he could easily become the most desired and envied person in the world.

If this news were exposed, every powerful empire across the world of Acardium would do whatever it took to bring him to their side. Given his background as part of a powerful and wealthy family, he would receive countless engagement proposals from influential households eager to gain control over him.

Perhaps even the imperial family of Gravantia would offer a proposal to marry him to one of their two princesses.

Just thinking about the amount of problems Raziel would face made his head hurt. Thankfully, no one had discovered his secrets—or at least, that was what he thought.

While sitting at his desk in his office, reading some random books, Clarice knocked on the door and entered, seeking to speak with him in private.

Raziel accepted and asked Eve, who was lying upside down on the couch with a bored expression, to leave for a while. She got up from her seat and exited the room, staying near the door to eavesdrop on their conversation.

Seeing that they were alone, Clarice sat in the chair in front of Raziel desk.

Without wasting any time, she asked, "Young master, do you perhaps have two primary classes?"

"What?" Raziel widened his eyes at the sudden question.

His face grew paler, and sweat began to form on his forehead, confirming to Clarice that she was right.

"N-No, what are you talking about? Someone can't have two primary classes—it's common sense," Raziel tried to dismiss her question.

"You're lying, aren't you, young master?" His attempt to fool her had failed.

"Sigh... How did you find out?" Raziel retorted in a tired voice.

The girl explained that she realized it when she noticed the cobalt blue color emanating from him immediately after he achieved his second mana circle.

She told him that he was now probably on the second layer of his aura core, which surprised Raziel. He finally understood why his aura had started to appear stronger than before.

"Young master, do you intend to reveal this?" Clarice asked, curious, as his reaction showed he didn't want anyone to find out.

"For now, no. That's why I want you to promise not to tell anyone about it, or..." He tried to come up with a threat but couldn't muster the courage to do so.

"D-Don't worry, young master. I will never tell anyone; I swear on everything I care about," the girl said, a bit frightened by his slightly intimidating tone.

"I'll trust you, so you can go now. We'll have a proper talk about it later."

"T-Thank you very much for trusting me, young master. If you'll excuse me..."

Clarice walked out of the room, leaving Raziel with a weary expression. He pondered the danger of her holding such crucial information but decided to let it go for now. Even if he tried do something, the plot armor would probably save her.

She was a heroine, after all.

A few seconds later, Eve entered the office and noticed Raziel lost in thought.

She then asked, "What happened, little master?"

Raziel didn't bother to explain and just muttered some gibberish, saying everything was fine.

"Hm... do you want me to silence her?"

"What?" Raziel asked, confused by Eve's sudden suggestion.

"You know, I'm very good at making people go silent. If you want, I can take care of her," Eve said, then explaining what she meant.

"Oh no... you heard our talk, didn't you?"

"Of course I did. It's my job to always be ready to jump in and protect you." Eve puffed out her chest with pride as she said these words.

"So... TWO PRIMARY CLASSES THATS SO FUCKING COOL!"

Eve then jumped on him and started bombarding him with questions, making Raziel instinctively blurt out, "Shit!"

A week later, at Raziel's house, four people were gathered around the dining table to discuss an important matter. Raziel and Sylfi had suddenly received an invitation to attend a fancy party at the Harvestead family's main house, where a significant announcement was to be made.

Sylfi, after receiving the news, grew very nervous, thinking that Raziel's father might break their engagement due to the rumors about her supposed infidelity.

If this really happened, she would lose everything and probably get disowned by her father, who was eager to gain the Harvestead family's support no matter what.

Noticing her worried expression, Raziel tried to calm her down. He reassured her that his father likely wouldn't take such drastic action, as Mikael hadn't mentioned anything in the meantime. Raziel suspected that Mikael had probably secured a new contract with even better benefits.

"Are you sure about that, little master? I doubt Master Mikael would allow you to marry an unfaithful woman," Eve said, casting a disdainful glance at Sylfi.

"You are in another league, after all, destined to become a—"

"Okay, enough with that, Eve," Raziel interrupted, stopping Eve from taunting Sylfi, who was glaring daggers at her.

Raziel had noticed some days ago the strange, hostile relationship between the two. Whenever Eve saw Sylfi, she didn't even try to hide her disgust, often throwing out some disparaging comments.

He tried to explain that this was just a rumor, but Eve didn't care.

"Tsk," Sylfi clicked her tongue in frustration, angry that she couldn't teach Eve a lesson.

"Alright, everyone. The invitation says that Sylfi and I need to be there today around seven in the evening, and we're allowed to bring at least two servants. So, I'll bring you two as a precaution," Raziel explained, gesturing to Clarice and Eve, whose eyes lit up at the news.

Clarice had never accompanied him to any parties, and Eve rarely participated in the parties hosted by the Harvestead family, as she was always responsible for security.

"With that said, let's go buy some clothes in the commercial zone. Luckily, it's still only midday, so we have plenty of time."

The two servant girls didn't understand what Raziel meant, so he told them he would buy formal attire for all of them.

Eve and Clarice tried to decline, saying it wasn't necessary, but after a few minutes of convincing, they reluctantly accepted.

After Raziel dismissed the girls, he took a moment to form some ideas about what might happen with this sudden dinner invitation. In the game, such an event had never occurred before, so the outcomes were unpredictable.

Raziel decided to use his bedroom's bathroom for a shower. However, the moment he opened the door to the changing area, a majestic sight greeted his eyes.

In the changing area, Eve stood there bare-chested, wearing only a pair of pink panties with a strawberry pattern. Her curves were almost perfect, a delightful sight displaying both sexiness and allure.

"What are you doing here, Eve?" Raziel asked, his gaze fixed on the beautiful chest of his childhood friend. Her sensual pink nipples were perfectly shaped, drawing his eyes despite his attempt to maintain composure.

"Eek!" Eve let out a surprised sound before freezing, just as she did when Tiyara teased her.

"Oh, she froze… Okay then, finish quickly. After that, we're going to have a little talk."

With that, Raziel closed the door and opened the window of his room to get some fresh air, while the image of Eve's beautiful and curvy body lingered in his mind.

'God have mercy on your son, because I'm almost at my limit,' Raziel thought, praying for strength to resist the temptations.
