When Audra's mum dies, she goes back home, even knowing she would finally have to face his first love, Chris – who’s also his foster brother. After what appears to have been a pretty painful breakup, they’ve been avoiding each other over the past 11 years. But will the pain of the loss bring them back together? INCREASING TENSION
"Huh" Chris muttered.
"What is it?" I asked.
"Looks smaller." He answered, his gaze fixed on the building with a slightly amused smile.
I chuckled.
"I guess it does… Then again, we are bigger now, both physically and emotionally."
"Well, you're not much bigger…" He jokingly said, giving me a side glance with his characteristic half-smirk.
"Guess someone's mood has improved." I lifted an eyebrow and gave him a glare.
"It's all thanks to you. So, back to what you said… You think I look bigger now? I hope in a good sense?" He turned to look at me with a mischievous and sexy smile that made my stomach flutter.
"What, you want me to shower you with compliments now?" I said trying to keep a straight face on our flirty banter.
"Well, I mean between this and how you weren't able to take your eyes off me this morning in your shower…" I glared at him again, feeling slightly flustered.
