When Audra's mum dies, she goes back home, even knowing she would finally have to face his first love, Chris – who’s also his foster brother. "What's not a date-date?" A voice asked behind Claire. In a split second, the colour from her face drained. Sophia was standing there with a demanding expression, waiting for Claire to answer.

It was hard to know how much she had heard; she could have been listening in for a while.
I guess that might be on Claire's mind too, she looked at me and I knew she was asking for help, she was much braver now with Sophie, but this was a theme that was tricky for her.
