The world had served her the cruellest and bitter taste of life. From the mysterious death of her parents to her awful marriage which slowly ripped her off. All of this made her become a changed woman and she vowed never to love again because she believed that all men were evil. She was called the city bitch, a woman who rampaged the city, tortured men with her body and did cruel things to people. Nothing and no one could stop the hottest slayer in the city who bowed to no one. Digging gold with her pretentious smile that made men succumb to her and women green with jealousy. All these she did in viciousness to take down her lifetime enemy who ripped and turned her world upside down. Plotting her sweet great revenge, storming the city with her cruel and crazy acts, she was suddenly trapped in the web of the same oath she vowed not to break. Finding herself spelling the word LOVE seemed like a curse to her as she felt she will make the same horrible mistake that took the life she once had. Either she ruled and accomplished her revenge, or the city goes to ruin.
"Boss, everything is set." A man said walking into the room as soon as his boss ordered him to come in.
He looked at his boss sitting on a rocking chair, his hands tapping gently on his lap, he had a dangerous aura and a look that will make one feel afraid at a glance.
"Good, how about my security?"
"I have sent some men to the hotel. The hotel staff were tough to get but a few dollars spent was able to get them. By 8 am all the CCTV would be turned off."
"Very good." Rashuel swung the chair to face the man who was talking to him and placed a small box on top of the table. He brought out the gun and let his finger caress it like it was a treasure to him and he said.
"Did you find his wife?"
"It seems the man doesn't fancy his wife. Our men monitored him and found out that he drugged his wife after she found out the truth about his affair with Melissa Tom."
"Where is his wife now?"
"He dumped her in one of the abandoned hospitals in Diba city. I believe the drug he injected into her would make her lose her memory."
"Do you want to save his wife?"
He scoffed, "Do you think I Rashuel Macbeth would rescue my enemy's wife? Do you have the video of him drugging his wife?"
"Yes,"
"Release the video, let the woman's family members come to rescue her instead."
"Okay, I just wanted to know."
"I'm not a stupid man." "I have waited for so many years to get my revenge on Doctor James Morgan for betraying my trust. I was stupid to trust him in the first place. Since he betrayed my trust I will treat him well."
"Boss are you planning to eliminate him yourself." The man asked seeing the blazing gun his boss had been admiring.
"Will that surprise you?"
Boxy brought his face down, thinking that his boss was now a changed man, was not for the people he wanted to get back at.
Years ago, Rashuel was involved in drug trafficking worth about five million dollars with Doctor James Morgan. Rashuel's mind went back to when it all started with Doctor James Morgan.
He was in his apartment, waiting for one of the men involved in the drug deal they were going to make to call him. Just as he was tired of waiting, his phone rang.
"Hello,"
"Hello, is everything ready?"
"We have a little problem here, Rashuel."
"What is it?"
"Officer Ben followed Axl and got the information about the drug deal."
"Holy shit! How could he be so stupid that he didn't know he was been monitored?"
"I don't know but it's Doctor James Morgan who informed us about it. He said he found out that Officer Ben discovered it. The officer followed Axl and heard him make a call about where the deal will take place."
"Who gave out the information? Who told Officer Ben about Axl's movement?"
"I don't know but it's a good thing that Doctor James knows the policeman followed him."
"When will that Officer Ben get his fucken ass off our case?"
"That's why I said we should eliminate him earlier."
"That will only create a huge problem. He is a top-ranked policeman, killing will make the police get on our neck."
"Okay, I get your reason."
"But why didn't Ben arrest him when he heard Axl's call?"
"The policeman is greedy, since the drugs that would be supplied to the Indis are strong and a huge amount involved, he wanted his share of the money.
He threatened to leak the secret and involve SRV if we don't comply and give him his part of the money."
"How much did he demand?"
"50 per cent."
"That's way too much!"
"Yes, but others agreed to it already."
"That man is a damn bastard!"
The man was silent listening to the heaving breath of Rashuel through his phone.
"There's nothing else I can do if not to join."
"You made a good decision. Also, the location has been changed."
"Why?"
"The officer demanded for it."
"Where's the new location?"
"Bixel island. There's is a hotel there not frequently used by people."
"Why does it have to be that hell of a place?"
"There's no other place we could think of. That's the least available, the main town is tight, SRV army has full control of the city. You have to make yourself available, 2 pm is the time."
"Alright." Rashuel dropped his phone on the table after the call had ended.
In the Bixel island, in the hotel, 7 men went behind Rashuel as they headed towards the room where the exchange of the hard drug would take place, entering the room everywhere was empty and Rashuel had a bad feeling about it. "They've betrayed us!"
"We need to get out of here now!" Rashuel shouted at his men, and immediately they went towards the exit, his phone rang.
"What the fuck happened, you guys set me up?"
"I'm sorry to say this Rashuel, Doctor James Morgan betrayed us, he ganged up with Officer Ben. The police are at the hotel now. My men found out about it late. Are you there already?"
Rashuel's phone slipped off his hands as he reached for his gun.
"Hello, Rashuel are you there?" Axl's voice sounded from the phone. Rashuel was no longer interested in the call as he had to face the group of men coming right in front of him.
It was the policemen and Doctor James Morgan, not just the policemen but also the SRV army coming from another angle entering the hall.
"Hands up Rashuel!" One of the policemen shouted at him.
"I repeat, drop your gun and hands up. Don't think of retaliating, we've got so many here against you, I'm sure you're not blind to see the SRV."
Rashuel's brows furrowed, his eyes red as he glared at Doctor James Morgan who had a merry look on his face.
'You, James, you did this to me?' Rashuel said inwardly.
"Drop your weapons," Rashuel ordered his men.
"Boss, aren't you gonna fight back first." Boxy queried his boss disappointed at Rashuel's weakness.
"I don't believe in dying a hero. I will live a hero."
Boxy had no other option but to drop his gun and allow the police to arrest them.
"Why did you do this to me, James?" Rashuel said still glaring daggers at him.
"Hahaha, should I answer you that?"
"I will make sure I get back at you!" Rashuel shouted as the policemen dragged him out of the place.
Rashuel came out of his thought and turned to face Boxy and said "It's time to pay him back."
Boxy asked.
"Boss, what about your wife? Um... I... Mean your ex-wife? She is still nowhere to be found."
"Any news about the kidnappers?"
"No, I heard she escaped."
"Hmm, trace that city bitch of a woman and bring her to me."
"Yes, boss."
Rashuel's phone distracted his attention from Boxy. "Hello," He spoke immediately after he picked up the call.
"Boss, Doctor James Morgan and the minister of affairs has arrived at the hotel."
"Good," Rashuel responded, ended the call and said to Boxy.
"It's time to leave."
