Chapter 12: Progress and Information

He knew he had stated harsh conditions that could cause him to lose his life but he knew that in the future he could create an ability that could take life force from others with his Devouring Mode.

He knew he also couldn't fool Nen, he wasn't lucky like Kite. So he stated that he didn't want to forget his emotions.

After a few seconds, he sensed a wave of Nen washing through him and concentrating on his head. Moments later, he began to forget events then years till he forgot all about his past life. He could also sense the Nen checking his diary to see if there was any information opposite to his vow. Although he wrote only goals for himself, he wrote them based on his past life memories. So he had to wait for Nen's judgment.

It might because of his affinity to Nen, the Nen deemed the information passable and didn't destroy it.

After waiting a few moments, Geno opened his eyes with a confused look on his face. He looked at himself. He knew he vowed on forgetting something but couldn't remember what it was. He looked at the diary in his hands and wrote the note he left for himself.

'I don't need to know what I forgot. All I need to know is, all the suffering had gone, and I forgave everyone. So look for an exciting life and live it to it's fully'

Geno sighed to himself and started reading all the information in his diary. After memorizing it, he stored it away and started his training.

A year and two months had passed since then. Geno continued his training and started learning advanced principles six months ago. He knew he moved ahead of the schedule but the old man insisted. At the beginning of every month, Xeno kept on tossing him in life and death battles.

His mother gave birth to a cute little sister that have the same features as his mother. Geno insisted on naming her. He named her, Gina Sept.

He became proficient In all the advanced techniques at this point. He learned Ko, Kin, and Shu. He could now fight his father in a one-on-one battle. He knew he still couldn't win against his father and his uncle Jack if they fought all out.

Geno didn't create any new Nen ability. He kept strengthening his foundations and trying to enter his other modes. It would still need time to develop his battle lust so he concentrated on his Devouring mode.

He reached the right mental state of devouring but his heart state still needed some time. He knew he only needed a year or two at max and he would be able to enter it with ease.

For now, his sixth birthday was coming near. His grandfather told him he would take him out to visit old friends.

Now, you might wonder if they knew people outside. Well, they hid from the normal people's view, from governments even the V5 knew nothing about them. But of course, some people knew about the Sept family. Five families and two people to be exact.

First, the Green family who lived in Mimbo republic. That was until they moved to the forest ruins with the Sept since two of their third generations married into the Sept family. The Green family is a family of Hunters. All its members are known hunters.

Second, the Bael family who lived in the united state of Saherta. No new generations carry the family title of Bael. The last members are Geno's grandmother and great grandmother from the Green bloodline.

Third, the Kim family who lived in the federation of Ochima till now. They also hid from the public in desert ruins.

Fourth, the Sakura family who lived in the Kakan'yn kingdom. They still have some members. They live an adventurous life trying to discover new species, creatures, and plants.

Fifth, the Zoldyck family who lived in the Republic of Padokea. Although there wasn't a marriage connection between them and Sept family, the older generations were friends. Maha Zoldyck visited Xander Sept regularly.

The two individuals who knew about the Sept family are Isaac Netero, who tried to challenge the older generations and got his ass kicked, and Ging freecss, who visited them while trying to explore the forest ruins and got chased by a snow beast and got saved by Geno himself.
