Xiao Yu understood this and was not much shocked when he heard this, the resources of this place was already very limited because of beasts and dungeons. His father was an E rank hunter with low potential to climb any higher and only those with D rank and above can have slaves so If Xian Yu is not able to awaken his hunter talent within a week than he will also be sold as a slave by the government.

He was the one who beat the old Xian Yu because he had a crush on Chao Xi. Similar to Chao Xi he also awakened the D rank talent, mostly because his father is an A rank hunter and he must have fed him lot of monster meat and pills to help him.

Xian Yu knew that Liam must have told Chao that he will accept him as a slave, just the look in his eyes can show that I am nothing more than trash to him right now. Truth be told that age of ceremony awakens most of the humans talent so there is a very rare chance that someone can awake a talent in the second turn because of which most of them were confident that I am done for.

Xian Yu was not interested on all this childish trash talk so he got up and went to the park outside the school. He saw the bench in the park where her classmate Min Shi was sitting. She was also like him, someone who was not able to awaken the hunter talent. Min Shi was the prettiest girl of our school. Although she was not crying but one could see from her eyes that she has lost all hope, she was an orphan like 50% of this school students and after one month she will be sold to someone and who know how will treat her.

He was very eager to go at his house and look into it. Before leaving when he saw Min Shi face which was looking like she was in daze, her eyes were red which makes me think as she was crying a lot since morning.

Min Shi turned her face slowly to look at him and with a fake smile she answered I guess we both are destined to be trash.

Xian Yu wanted to comfort her but he knew there is nothing he can do right now.

After sitting there for few minutes which felt like century he decided to get stronger first to be able to do whatever he wants without thinking. He went home running after this, As soon as he entered he saw his father, judging by his face he seems to already know that I failed the age of ceremony.

Both of them had a lot to say, Xian Yu wanted to tell him about the system and that he will become stronger than any hunter present and his father wanted to comfort him but both were not able to speak anything and his father went to his room without saying anything with a dejected look.

Xian Yu went to his room and started the system interface to accept the newbie gift pack.

As soon as he accepted it, there was a small book with 10 pages and a dagger appeared in front of him. This made Xian Yu very excited that he was not being delusional and he finally got something to turn his luck around.
