Peace of Mind

"I wonder what happened to him." West said to his good friend, Kai, while looking out of the window towards the front of the dormitory. There were police officers talking with several professors.

"Yawn…" Then Jason left his room with a sleepy expression. He let out several yawns and saw that the trio of young men had already gathered in the living room. "What's up?"

"Apparently, Lucius has disappeared." West said with a thoughtful expression. "His roommate reported it to the caretaker, and then Norman asked the temporary caretaker if he saw Lucius ever leaving. He didn't, and the notes on his absence list confirmed it.

"He had disappeared like a fart in the wind."

Jason walked to the window and saw the police officers flocking to the entrance. "Do they have any idea what has happened?"

"Not that I am aware of." West sighed. "I wonder what happened."
