Chapter 13: Fluffy

Sure enough, the Weasley twins were up to their normal pranks, quietly spreading some food to mislead Mrs. Norris and lure Filch away.

Arthur looked at the twins and also found it funny.

In his past life, the Weasley twins were very eye-catching in the movies. As the pranksters of Hogwarts, every film had hilarious scenes.

Unfortunately, in the end, Fred died, leaving only one of the twins behind.

Arthur also felt sad about this in his past life, but it didn't stop him from wanting to play a good prank on them now.

After all, it was the twins who had disrupted his plans tonight.

Arthur smiled slyly as he watched the twins walk ahead, unaware of the prank that was coming.

With a wave of his wand, a suit of armor's helmet suddenly fell to the ground next to the hall, making a loud noise.

"Clang"

Even the sounds of the echoes were heard in the empty hall.

The twins, who had just passed by were startled. They quickly turned around to see what had happened. However, what confused them was that only a helmet had fallen to the ground, and there was no one else.

Not far away, Mrs. Norris's meowing and Filch's footsteps could be heard coming.

The twins were scared, so they stopped to find out what was happening. Instead, they quickly climbed the nearby stairs to the fourth floor.

Arthur suppressed his laugh and quietly followed behind them.

"Haha! I'll tell Filch about these students!" Suddenly, Arthur heard Peeves's voice coming from around the corner of the stairs on the fourth floor.

It turned out that Peeves had discovered the twins.

As usual, Peeves wandered the castle, looking for opportunities to play pranks and cause trouble.

When he arrived on the fourth floor, he suddenly heard footsteps and floated toward the sound.

Then, he saw the twins running towards him in a panic. This made him very happy, even though he knew they were troublemakers from the Weasley family who also loved playing pranks.

But that didn't mean he wouldn't mess with them. After all, there can only be one prankster king at Hogwarts, and that's Peeves.

"Hehe, Weasley brats, caught by the great Peeves, huh?"

"If you guys just say that the great Peeves is the best prankster at Hogwarts, I'll consider letting you go, how about that?"

Peeves opened his mouth wide and laughed weirdly, feeling very happy with himself.

The twins looked at each other, and Fred looked at Peeves with a big grin on his face.

"The great Peeves, huh?"

"The best prankster at Hogwarts," George sounded in.

Then the twins looked at each other again, burst into laughter, and said at the same time. "Of course it's us!"

After that, the twins immediately ran to the right, leaving Peeves mad and jumping up and down in the same spot.

"Ha ha!"

Arthur couldn't help but laugh, the twins were really funny, they could even trick Peeves like this.

"Who's there?"

Peeves heard the laughter and were startled, but he immediately realized that a little ghost was hiding around him. So he started looking around.

Arthur wanted to go see what kind of pranks the twins were up to, but he didn't want to be caught by Peeves.

He noticed a piece of chalk on the ground, which Peeves probably intended to throw at students. He pointed his wand and muttered,

"Waddiwasi"

[Waddiwasi: was the magic of an unknown spell that could be used to move a small object towards a target at high speed.]

The chalk on the ground split and flew towards Peeves like a cannonball, hitting him one after another. Peeves was frightened as the chalk hit him hard, causing him to cry out in pain and run towards the left hall.

Arthur purposely directed the chalk to force Peeves to the opposite hall from where the Weasley twins were. However, the right side of the fourth-floor hall looked familiar to Arthur.

Suddenly, Arthur's face changed slightly as he remembered that Dumbledore had mentioned the forbidden direction for students to go during the opening ceremony, which was the direction the twins were running towards.

'Isn't this the location of the first-year dungeon? If the twins accidentally stumble to the abandoned classroom there, they'll discover Fluffy, the three-headed dog guarding the door.'

Thinking of this, Arthur didn't hesitate and cast a Lighting charm on his own legs, heading towards the right hall.

Sure enough, after walking for a while, he saw the twins studying how to open the trapdoor to the abandoned classroom.

Fred used an unlocking spell, and the door opened with a sound. The two of them excitedly rushed in.

Arthur slapped his forehead. Dumbledore's defenses were too weak. 'He didn't even set up a counter-curse for the spell. Was he afraid that Harry couldn't get in?'

He quickly followed the twins into the room, and then he saw a huge three-headed dog lying on the ground, with three heads lowering quietly as if asleep.

A strong, intense smell hit Arthur's nose, and he quickly held his breath.

The twins didn't respond as quickly, but when George or Fred yelled, "It stinks!" when they smelled the bad smell in this quiet place.

Instantly, all three of the dog's heads opened their eyes, and two of them stared at the twins in front of them, while the other head looked towards Arthur, who was standing not far away.

Obviously, the Disillusionment Charm could not hide his smell, and it was only a spell that allowed the caster to blend in with their surroundings.

Suddenly, the head in the middle of the three-headed dog roared and charged towards the stupid twins who were standing still.

The twins were not slow to react and quickly pulled out their wands, releasing two attack spells toward Fluffy.

Unfortunately, the two of them were only in their third year at Hogwarts, and their magical powers were not strong enough.

The three-headed dog only stumbled slightly before continuing its attack as if nothing had happened.

At this point, Arthur couldn't afford to remain hidden and revealed himself.

"Stupefy"

With all his strength, Arthur cast the spell. A beam of red light shot out from the tip of his wand and hit the three-headed dog with a loud crash.

The creature flew backward and hit the classroom wall, creating a loud noise.

The twins were startled to see a third person in the room.

Arthur didn't have time to explain to them. The three-headed dog had strong magical and physical resistance, and the Stupefy spell alone was not effective in causing any damage.

'We need to put the dog to sleep with some music, or else the noise might attract the professors or even Filch.' Arthur thought to himself.

He then shouted to the twins, "Quickly sing the song you performed at the sorting ceremony."

The twins were confused, but they knew Arthur had a purpose for asking them to do this. Without hesitation, they began to sing the song
