Aarav and Meera Mahajan had always dreamed of a life filled with joy and wonder. Living in a bustling neighborhood in Mumbai, their lives were busy but fulfilling. Aarav was a well known healer and a Parselmouth, Aarav knew that their child might inherit his rare abilities. Meera, came from famous warrior family which used both magic and swordsmanship, though she was a witch, she was fascinated by muggles. That was the reason they were living in muggles neighborhood for past couple of years.
When they learned they were expecting their first child, excitement and anticipation filled their home. They decorated the nursery in bright, cheerful colors and stocked it with toys and books. Aarav spent hours assembling a crib, while Meera knitted tiny clothes, each stitch infused with love and hope for their future child.
The day Raj was born was the happiest of their lives. From the moment they held him, Aarav felt an unexplainable aura surrounding their son. His bright eyes seemed to hold a spark of wisdom, and his curious gaze took in the world with an intensity that belied his infant years.
At this moment he proclaimed "A genius is born"
As months passed, Raj's unique qualities began to emerge. He was a cheerful baby, quick to smile and laugh. His presence brought light to every corner of their home. He started walking at six month old which was fast even for wizards. He often follow Aarav when he was healing patients in clinic downstairs (both wizard and muggles separately ofc) or watch Meera when she was practicing swordsmanship.
One evening, as Raj was nearing his first birthday, Aarav and Meera were sitting in their living room, watching Raj play around house. When a patient came in, some idiot who almost lost his arm due to a dark curse. Aarav immediately took action trying usual healing spell but they did nothing but slow down the curse.
Then Aarav started to hiss startling Raj who had walked in behind him. After a few seconds he saw curse receding, letting out a sigh he sat in his chair after telling patient to stay for couple hours for observation. Then he bent to pick up Raj who was motioning for it. As soon as he picked Raj upto eye level, Raj pointed at patient and said his first words "Teach".
Aarav was startled unable to grasp meaning of his child's first words. After a minute he seemed to understand and pointed at patient again and asked Raj "Do you want to learn to heal people?"
Raj nodded eagerly.
"Raj, you are just about a year old and you haven't had your first magic riot yet, So I can't teach you any magic yet, but I can still teach you about medicinal herbs if you want." said Aarav seriously.
"$NO. MAGIC. HEAL. NOW.$" yelled Raj as loudly as possible.
Aarav was now more surprised than when he saw Raj talk. He picked Raj and left clinic. He went straight to Raj's room. Meera who was sitting in living room saw this and felt something off, so she followed.
After coming to Raj's room Aarav placed him down and said sternly to Raj who was puffing his face (looing more cute than angry).
"Raj, you are always well behaved. What's gotten into you today. I've already said I can't teach you yet."
Raj overwhelmed by anger did only thing a baby can do started crying. Meera who was watching from sidelines scooped him up trying to pacify Raj. Looking at raj she said in her scolding voice.
"Aarav, what are you doing? can't you be more gentle. Look you have made him cry and he never-" Her next words were caught in her throat as all the things around the room started to float and smashed into the wall.
She wasn't angry, but extremly happy as she looked at Raj who had a shocked expression on his face which turned into a wide smile. he looked at his mother.
"Mum I did" saying this he hugged her and fell into sleep.
After a moment of quiet contemplation, Meera gently shifted Raj in her arms, adjusting his tiny form against her chest. She glanced at Aarav, her eyes soft with emotion.
"Aarav, did you notice when he called me 'mum'?" Meera asked softly, her voice filled with wonder. "It's such a small thing, but it felt like the whole world stood still for that moment."
Aarav smiled warmly, reaching out to gently stroke Raj's cheek. "I did notice, Meera. It was beautiful. He looked so proud of himself."
"He did," Meera agreed, her voice tinged with amusement. "I think he knew he'd surprised us both. It's moments like these that make me realize just how special our little Raj is."
"He's going to do amazing things, Meera," Aarav said confidently, his eyes fixed on their sleeping son. "And we'll be there every step of the way, guiding him."
Meera nodded, a small smile playing on her lips. "Yes, we will. And I have a feeling that his magical abilities will only make him even more extraordinary."
They sat in comfortable silence, enveloped by the warmth of their home and the love they shared for their son. In that moment, they knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, their family was bound by a magic that was stronger than any spell.

It was a quiet evening after Raj's first magical outburst. Meera sat on the couch in their living room, gently rocking Raj in her arms as he dozed off. Aarav joined her, his expression a mix of wonder and concern.
"He's definitely inherited your gift, Aarav," Meera whispered, stroking Raj's hair gently.
Aarav nodded thoughtfully. "Yes, but he seems to be much more direct with it than I was at his age. Remember, I didn't have my first significant magical display until I was nearly three."
"I suppose Raj is eager to show us what he can do," Meera replied with a soft laugh. "Did you see his face when everything started floating? He was so surprised!"
"I saw," Aarav said with a smile. "And I think he was just as surprised as we were. But Meera, what if his magic continues to manifest this strongly? He's so young..."
"We'll manage, Aarav," Meera reassured him, her voice firm. "Just as we always have. We'll guide him, teach him control. And besides, it's a blessing that he's showing such a strong inclination towards healing magic. It's in his blood, after all."
Aarav nodded again, his worry easing slightly. "You're right. I'll start reading up on how to help young wizards manage their magic. And perhaps I can teach him some basic healing techniques when he's a bit older, under controlled conditions."
"That sounds perfect," Meera agreed, smiling down at Raj's peaceful face. "He'll learn quickly, I'm sure. Just like he learned to walk so early."
As they sat together, watching their son sleep, they knew that their lives were about to become even more magical and filled with wonder than they had ever imagined.
