Suddenly, a deafening thunderclap roared, jolting Ren out of his petrified state. The sound snapped him back to reality, and he began to frantically look around for something, anything, that could help the little god.
He was hidden behind the metallic body of the robot guard that shielded him from the onslaught of the glass rain.
Ren made a quick decision to summon his vines. Little god's body was emitting a dim glow and Ren instinctively felt it was not a good sign.
For the first time, he used his vines outside his comfort zone.
As the shattered wall created a gap, the vines took immediate advantage, slithering through the opening with one aim. They moved toward the chair where Sabrina was sitting like a boss.
Her face still resting upon her backhand. The blood seeping from her nose and eyes did nothing to deter her smile.
