"That was crazy, do you think we got them far enough away?" He asked, hoping that so much scandal had attracted as many infected people as possible, so that the others would have a clear path.

"Yes, we made too much noise" the girl tightened her grip on her sword as the elevator stopped on the 42nd floor, with the doors opening, they both prepared themselves.

An empty hallway.

Distrustful, Naruto took out an empty charger to throw it against a desktop computer on one of the many desks in the offices.

Nothing.

Sighing, both teenagers left the elevator and walked through the empty offices, it seemed like they weren't even used, which said that before they got to work, the outbreak had already started.

Approaching the windows, a feeling of regret passed through their hearts, as they saw the city in chaos, some buildings were burning in flames, others were saturated with infected.

The sight was devastating.

"How do we get to the Takagi mansion now?" Seako wondered aloud as she dropped into one of the many chairs in the office.

"At least we can see it from here" Naruto murmured as he saw that they only had to go through the river canal and an urban area to reach a large mansion that could be seen in the distance.

"We have to get there before it gets dark, it will be a nightmare to be alone at night" Seako got up from the chair, there would be time to rest when they arrived at the Takagi mansion, looking out the window, she noticed those elevators that the window cleaners used to clean the glass of the tallest buildings.

"Stop" Naruto gulped when he saw something. He had barely seen it, but he saw a shadow slip through the darkness of the dimly lit areas of the office.

"We are not alone" Seako also noticed it and slowly slid her hand towards the sword, when a figure emerged from a closet.

The infected person made her joints crack as she moved on her four limbs as if she were an animal, with her mouth stained with blood and saliva dripping, she began to growl.

And I jump.

Seako did not wait for the eight-meter jump by Rara Higher, she had to put her sword in its path to avoid the bite, being pushed against a desk pushed to struggle.

Naruto was going to come out to help him, when he heard the sound of something being dragged.

Looking up the ladder, he saw a zombified firefighter, dragging a bloody ax with him.

"Don't fuck with me" Naruto had to take a computer screen when the infected screamed and came running at him with the ax in his hands.

The computer he used to protect himself was split in half, and he had to keep his distance from the infected's frantic and savage slashes.

Seako didn't have it easy either, she's weird, she had limbs like rubber. The strange way she moved and attacked was nothing she had ever seen before, she looked like a hellish being jumping back and forth between walls.

"I could use a hand!" Naruto avoided a cut that left a desk split in half, taking a keyboard and smashing it on the head of the infected person who barely took a step back.

"I have my own problems!" Seako had to climb over the desks and run from the senior who was hot on his heels.

"Then let's change!" Naruto pulled a fire extinguisher from the wall and sprayed it at the armed zombie, stunning him.

"Good!" Running towards hers, Seako still had the higher close, running over the writers jumped one, passing over Naruto who came running towards her.

They both changed places.

And the higher who was running on all fours was so focused on chasing the swordswoman. I didn't expect a fire extinguisher to hit him in the head.

Throwing himself on top, Naruto began to hammer the higher's head until leaving only a large stain of blood and flesh.

For her part, Seako attacked the armed zombie by giving a quick blow to the wrist with which he was holding the axe, breaking it and causing him to drop it, he quickly turned and with a precise blow, broke his neck with his sword.

Both teens sighed as the two infected became immobilized.

"This is getting uglier and uglier" Naruto walked over to the ax and took it, just to make sure he took off the zombie firefighter's helmet and split his head in half with the axe.

"These were smart." Seako glanced at the corpse of the woman, "This one acted like a beast, crouched and low posture, made it difficult to have a sword or knife fight, and its speed and ferocity made it a more difficult to get a clean shot"

"And this poor guy knows how to use an axe" Naruto leaned down to look at the firefighter's body, if he had to guess he would say that he had been infected for about two days, "Muscle memory? Firefighters use axes for fires"

"I don't know," Seako crossed his arms and sighed, it was difficult to say precisely how this virus affected each person, "We'll think about it when we're sure, now let's move on."

The two turned their attention to the window, where there was a lift to clean the windows.

That could work.

Although it made some noise, it was better than risking taking the stairs or elevator to a floor that might be infested with zombies.

"There is still electricity, that has to work, although we can still be seen"

"Hummm" looking around, Naruto saw something that made him smile, "Have you seen Toys Story?"

"That?" Seako tilted her head in confusion as he picked up a box.
