Chapter 2

But the story didn't end there.

After my third year in school, the hostel was renovated, and new students were assigned to occupy it. I was among them, eager to start a new chapter in the infamous hostel. We were warned about the history, but we dismissed it as mere rumors.

The first few nights were uneventful, but soon, strange things began to happen. I heard whispers in my ear as I slept, and my roommates reported seeing a ghostly figure lurking in the shadows. At first, we thought it was just our imagination, but as the occurrences grew more frequent and intense, we realized that Tolani's spirit was still very much present.

One night, I woke up to find Tolani standing beside my bed, her eyes blazing with a malevolent fury. I froze, unable to move or speak. She vanished as suddenly as she appeared, leaving me shaken and terrified.
