Ch-9< Kiana happy days >

The next day felt like a fairy tale for Kiana. She had found the person who visited her dreams, and now her father was laughing and talking with Kevin, happiness radiating from him like the warmth of the sun.

It was a rare sight, and it filled her heart with joy.

The food Kevin had brought with him was delicious—fresh bread, creamy soup, and sweet treats. Kiana had never tasted anything like it, and she couldn't stop smiling. Kevin noticed how quickly she was getting attached to him and couldn't help but tease Siegfried about it.

"Siegfried, it looks like I've won both of your daughters over," he joked, grinning.

Siegfried shot him a mock glare, gritting his teeth. "No way! I'll never give you my baby girls," he declared, puffing out his chest like a protective father.

Kevin chuckled and turned to Kiana, who was sitting comfortably on his lap, nibbling on a piece of bread. "Kiana, would you like to live with me?" he asked playfully, poking her cheek.

Kiana giggled, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "Daddy, I want to live with Kevin!" she announced, her voice full of innocence and excitement.

The color drained from Siegfried's face, and his eyes widened in shock. "WHAT?!" he blurted out, almost jumping out of his seat. He stared at Kevin, his face a mix of terror and disbelief. "How did you manage to charm both of them so quickly?!"

Kevin just laughed, enjoying Siegfried's exaggerated horror. "I guess I have a way with Kaslana girls," he replied with a wink.

Siegfried groaned, throwing his hands up in the air. "This isn't fair!" he muttered.

The next morning, Kevin slipped out early, moving silently through the icy streets to the market square. The sun was barely up, casting a pale light across the snow-covered ground.

His mission today was simple: to bring some joy to Kiana. He knew the little girl had been through so much, and he wanted to give her a reason to smile.

Kevin went from stall to stall, carefully selecting the finest pastries and cakes he could find.

He picked up a baba Homu doll, a popular toy that was supposed to bring good luck to its owner. He smiled to himself, imagining how Kiana's face would light up when she saw it.

Finally, he chose a few warm, colorful outfits to keep her cozy during the cold days ahead. Laden with bags, he made his way back to the cabin.

By the time Kevin returned home in the late afternoon, he barely had a chance to knock on the door before it flew open. A little blur of white hair and a high-pitched squeal shot towards him.

"Kebin!" Kiana shrieked joyfully, leaping into his arms like a tiny rocket. "You're back!"

Kevin caught her effortlessly, his arms wrapping around her securely. He laughed, feeling his heart swell at the sight of her bright, eager face. "Yes, I'm back," he replied warmly.

Kiana's eyes quickly darted to the bags in his hands, her smile growing even wider. "What did you bring?" she asked, her voice filled with excitement.

Kevin set her down gently and opened one of the bags, revealing a delicious array of pastries and sweets. "I brought you some treats," he said, watching her eyes grow as big as saucers.

"Wow! Sweets!" Kiana squealed, her small hands eagerly reaching for a chocolate-covered pastry. She took a bite and her face lit up with pure joy. "This is so yummy!" she exclaimed, her mouth full.

Kevin chuckled at her reaction. "I'm glad you like it," he said. "And I got something else for you." He reached into another bag and pulled out the baba Homu doll.

Kiana gasped. "A baba Homu doll!" she shouted, clapping her hands. "I've always wanted one!" She grabbed the doll and hugged it close to her chest. "Thank you, Kebin!" and kissed him on cheek.

Kevin smiled, feeling a warm glow inside. "You're very welcome, Kiana," he replied. "Now, tell me about your day."

Kiana's eyes sparkled with excitement. "Today, Daddy gave me his gun!" she announced proudly. "It was so cool! I went 'biu! biu! biu!' and took down all the Honkai beasts!" She mimicked shooting with her fingers, making sound effects as she jumped around in excitement.

Kevin's eyebrows shot up in surprise. "Siegfried is teaching you to use guns?" he asked, a mixture of amusement.

Kiana nodded eagerly. "Uh-huh! And it can shoot fire too! Daddy baked bread with it! And it can turn into a sword! Daddy used it to toast bread yesterday!"

Kevin's face twitched slightly, trying to suppress a grin. "He… used my precious weapon to bake bread?" he muttered under his breath. "I know I have mine in the system space, but still… It feels wrong for a weapon like that to be used as a kitchen utensil."

Kiana giggled. "Daddy is so funny!" she said, her eyes shining with admiration.

For the next two months, Kevin took on the task of training Kiana himself. He was determined to help her harness her growing power, but he knew it wouldn't be easy. Kiana's body grew stronger with each day, nourished by the meat of the Honkai beasts she consumed. She was getting stronger, her energy levels purifying and rising.

Kevin began teaching her how to convert Honkai energy into electricity. It was a dangerous technique, and despite his warnings, Kiana threw herself into the training with reckless enthusiasm. She injured herself three times in the first week, but Kevin quickly healed her with a focused touch, encouraging her to try again.

Within two weeks, Kiana had mastered the technique. Her body began to emit blue lightning, crackling with raw energy. Her speed increased dramatically; she could move faster than the speed of sound. But her control was still lacking.

On more than one occasion, she lost control and crashed into trees, rocks, and once even the cabin wall, breaking her arms and one of her legs. But Kevin healed her.

As the training went for months,

Siegfried watched with growing concern. "Isn't this training too dangerous, Kevin?" he asked, worry evident in his voice as he saw Kiana struggle under increased gravity.

Kevin, watching Kiana with a keen eye, responded calmly, "I'm monitoring her closely, Siegfried. This training will help her grow stronger. But… I see what you mean."

One day, as Kiana's eyes turned an unusual shade of yellow, Kevin's face grew serious. He stepped forward quickly and knocked her out with a gentle touch to her forehead. Kiana collapsed into his arms, unconscious.

"What just happened?" Siegfried asked, his voice tense, sensing the surge of Honkai energy in the air.

Kevin looked at him gravely. "It seems the Herrscher of the Void tried to dominate Kiana's consciousness," he explained, carefully laying her down.

Siegfried clenched his fists. "Her Honkai energy is increasing day by day," he muttered.

Kevin nodded. "Yes, and the hatred the Second Herrscher has for Schicksal is immense," he replied.

Later that night, Kiana woke up feeling groggy. She blinked a few times, her vision slowly coming into focus. Kevin was sitting beside her, holding a cup filled with a warm, sweet drink.

"Hey, sleepyhead," Kevin greeted softly, offering her the cup. "I made you something sweet to help you feel better."

Kiana took the cup, her hands still a little shaky. "Thank you," she murmured, taking a sip. The warmth spread through her body, and she smiled. "It's delicious."
