On Your Own

After Lady Sonia and her party entered the palace grounds, they walked until they reached a secluded area. She looked to see if anyone was watching or following them before turning to face her niece and the two strangers.

"This is as far as I will take you. You guys are on your own now." Sonia didn't wait to listen to the three as she quickly walked away from them.

When Lady Sonia was far enough away, Tolith smirked at Darshee and Haera.

"If I had known it would be this easy to get inside the palace. We could have did away with you three females." He stripped himself of the outer servant robes he was wearing and tossed them to the side.

"It was only easy because of me." Darshee corrected.

Haera also dropped the servant robes from her body and crumbled them up into a ball before tossing them into the brushes.

"Let's go, the sun is setting fast. We need to find the entrance to the tunnel before we make our move tonight."

"En."
