"Don't ask me. What is there to ask Professor Snape? How can I possibly know so much?" Despite his muttering, Malfoy hesitated, contemplating Darren's act of saving him.

"If you really want to know, I can help you write to my father now, and if there is news, he may tell me a little," he added dismissively.

"Dad, are you sure this blood spell is traced back to its roots?" Draco questioned with a hint of sarcasm, realizing the profound implications. The truth became apparent – Darren Porter, potentially carrying the Malfoy bloodline.
