Welcome to Hogsmeade!

In response to Harry's complaints, Ron immediately agreed that Snape's teaching skills were nothing compared to Professor Lupin's!

Yvonne did not reply, as Harry had hit the nail on the head, and Hermione was silent, as if she were thinking about something…

Suddenly, from the corridor, another voice called out.

"I wouldn't be so sure of that, Potter! I'm guessing you weren't paying attention to Professor Snape's lecture…maybe there really is a werewolf lurking around the school…maybe the one closest to you!"

They all turned to see Malfoy arrogantly approaching with his two henchmen.

Malfoy gave Harry a look of disdain, then turned back to Ivan with confidence. "Just you wait, Hulse, I'll find the evidence before you do!"

Malfoy's smug expression and words confused Harry and Ron, but Malfoy ignored them, leaving Ivan with these words and leaving…

"Does Malfoy think any of us are werewolves? It's ridiculous!" Ron complained.

Harry nodded, certain that his friends were not werewolf wizards, as none of them took the Wolfsbane Potion regularly, or suddenly vanished on the night of the full moon…

Hermione, however, thought better of it and turned to Ivan, who shook his head at her.

Understanding that Ivan knew who the Lupin werewolf was, the little witch swallowed her words.

Ivan was not surprised that Hermione had found out about Lupin's true identity, as she had been able to guess it on her own in time, let alone now.

But it surprised Ivan that Malfoy could guess.

Could it be that he was the reason Malfoy was working so hard and becoming so shrewd?

Ivan recalled Malfoy's words to him some time ago, when he did not understand what Malfoy meant.

Fortunately, Malfoy did not seem to have any conclusive evidence, other than the suspicion that Lupin was a werewolf, or he would have told the professors.

Ivan felt a headache coming on. He didn't want Lupin to be exposed and fired as a professor, as he had been in the past.

Ivan, however, could not think of a way to get Malfoy to stop investigating Lupin.

Malfoy was not Peter Pettigrew, and casting the Memory Charm on him was extremely risky.

Because Ivan did not know exactly when Malfoy had begun to suspect Lupin, even a fool could see the problem if one simply erased his memories of the past few months!

Even if Ivan was certain he could do it discreetly, so that no one would suspect him, who knew if Malfoy had shared his suspicions with anyone?

If the identity of the Lupin werewolf was revealed and no other killer was found, he would be the prime suspect in the attack on Malfoy.

In a fit of rage, Lucius would most likely use his influence to seal the deal, resulting in Lupin being imprisoned in Azkaban for assaulting a student.

Yvonne thought about it for a while, and decided that she would only supply Lupin with the genuine Wolfsbane Potion in the future, so that he would not have to take a leave of absence every month, and would be able to effectively reduce his chances of being found out, as long as he could…

While thinking, they headed to the Great Hall for lunch.

After complaining for a while, Harry, considering that he had to go to Hogsmeade later, forgot about the unpleasantness of the lesson, ate it quickly, and returned to the dormitory to retrieve his Invisibility Cloak.

Ron also rummaged through his suitcase for his allowance, which, despite only having a few Sickles, he solemnly placed in his wizard's robe pocket.

Ron certainly did not forget his favourite rat, Scabbers!

It should be noted that Scabbers did not want to leave the safety of the Gryffindor dormitory and wander around outside, his tiny paws clutching the pillow in protest, his screams even more earth-shattering.

Ron was embarrassed and at a loss as to what to do, and wondered if he should just leave Scabbers in the dormitory.

"Stupefy!"

A red light flew past and hit the grayish-black rat. Scabbers's eyes widened and he fainted!

"There, that's done, isn't it?" Ivan said with satisfaction as he slowly put his wand away.

He had been worried that Scabbers would try to escape, and now the problem was perfectly solved!

Ron opened his mouth and looked at Ivan with a strange expression, but he didn't say anything. He also felt that his pet mouse had been acting a little crazy lately, and it would be good to get some sleep while out.

"Let's get out of here, I can't wait!" Harry had changed and grabbed a handful of Galleons.

Yvonne nodded, and the three of them left the Gryffindor common room, where Hermione was already waiting for them.

"We're always going out there, and Harry can't hide in Hogwarts for the rest of his life, and a truly brave Gryffindor shouldn't be afraid of anything!" Ron vowed.

Hermione scowled at him. Being brave was not the same as being reckless, and it was not the same as courting death…

In this noisy atmosphere, Ivan led the group to a remote corridor on the fourth floor of the castle and stopped in front of a statue of a hunchbacked witch.

"Separate left and right!" Ivan snapped, tapping his wand on the statue.

With a soft rumble, the statue's hump automatically parted to reveal a narrow, dark passageway large enough for a thin man to squeeze through.

"Come in!" Ivan said, and was the first to dive into the dark space below.

"I have a feeling we're doing something bad!" Harry complained, looking at the dark entrance.

"It is. If you get caught going out, Professor McGonagall will deduct a hundred points!" Hermione rolled her eyes, but followed him in.

Harry and the others followed Ivan as he passed under the glittering stars of the Illuminating Charm.

After an unknown amount of time, when Harry's legs were beginning to ache and he was about to ask a question, Ivan stopped and pointed his wand at the ceiling, causing a trapdoor to open.

Harsh light shone through the opening, causing Harry and the others to squint uncomfortably. Ivan took the lead and jumped in.

"Come on up, this is it … welcome to Hogsmeade!"
