CHAPTER 24: Mr. Stalker

GABRIEL’s P.O.V.

“So, should I make a fake contract now or what?” Atty. Gomez asked me after we are our meals.

“Sure, Atty. Gomez. The earlier, the better.”

He smiled, before proposing a toast. I accepted it, before we finally part our own ways. I decided to head home, thinking about what happened. Sooner or later, I’m going to confront Claire about this. For now, I just need to pretend that I’m just a simple client wanting a fake contract from Atty. Gomez even though I don’t know where to use it.

As I lay down on my bed exhausted, I sighed, knowing that Darren is just using Claire to be a fraud... His fake wife, I guess. Claire doesn’t deserved to be just a rented woman. She deserved more than all of these. She deserved someone who will treat her right and better. And I believe that I could give her all of those things. I can be the man of her dreams too. Not just an old lover begging for her attention.
