BIRTH

Romanovs are the royal werewolves' family. Vincent Romanov and his wife Melissa Romanov, the king and the queen of black moon kingdom. They have 5 sons and other child was on the way as the queen was pregnant again. There has never been a daughter born in the history of the Romanovs family, so this time again everyone was expecting a son, although the family always wanted a little girl ,a princess who would be loved and cherished by whole family.

It was a dark and stormy night. The weather outside was getting worse with time. Loud screams of a woman in labor echoed down the hallway of the pack hospital. It wasn't supposed to happen this early since she still had six weeks to go but the baby was impatient, like their father. Melissa was holding the hand of her husband. The pain was clear on her face. She screamed every five seconds, hoping the baby would shoot out easily.

Alpha Vincent on the other hand was worried. He felt oddly overprotective over this baby more than his sons. His little one was coming out in thirty four weeks and that is not normal. All his sons had been either on time or a week late, but never so early.

"I know what you're thinking; our little one will be fine. Being a fighter and a survivor is in the baby's blood." Melissa smiled reassuringly, though it was more for herself.

"Keep pushing, you're almost there," the doctor reminded her.

"Please come out baby, Melissa thought to herself, I held you warm in me long enough. It's time to come out and see the world.

She screamed and with one last push, the baby was out.

The cry of the child was heard throughout the hospital. Hearing that everyone took a sigh of relief.

"Congratulations Alpha Romanov, it's a girl" said the doctor.

"A girl" Vincent whispered. He finally had a daughter.

"She's so beautiful Vince" Melissa cried.

Vincent was stumped. The little girl had a small patch of light brown hair which would darken a little bit like his own. Her eyes were the blue of every dancing sky, infinite hues of eliminated by newborn light. She was the most beautiful baby he has ever seen.

"Here." Nurse held her out to him with a smile

Vincent eagerly yet gently picked her up and rubbed her small cheeks with his index finger which was huge in comparison to a small bundle of joy.

He leaned down and placed a very gentle kiss on her forehead as tears made way to his cheeks.

He had a daughter now. The thing he and his family wished for the most.

The entire Romanovs family were waiting in the palace , they all heaved a sigh of relief when they learned that both the child and the mother were safe, but it was yet to be known that for the first time in the history of Romanovs, the princess was born.

Just then Gabrielle came in, the oldest and experienced sorceress of the royal family.

"I heard that finally the princess was born in the family of the Romanovs," she smiled and said.

"Princess?"

"WHAT ?"

Everyone started whispering among themselves.

"So you all didn't know anything about this yet?" she asked

"Is it true Grabrielle?" Vincent's father asked. His eyes were filled with tears of happiness, after years of wishing for a granddaughter, he finally had her now.

She nodded, "I felt very powerful magic around myself, it was strong yet pure, only then I understood the Romanovs sixth child is a girl".

"She's a witch?" he asked asked astonishingly.

"A very powerful witch Mr. Romanov," she smiled and said.

Suddenly there was a loud lightning. Gabrielle looked out the window, the sky was as black as the devil's soul. The wind was icy and withering and the drops of the rain looked like tiny crystals.

"She's a very powerful witch, pure yet some darkness surrounding her. She can either be a blessing for this kingdom or a curse. She has a power to destroy whole kingdom from her magic"

Just then they heard a loud roar which shook whole palace. Turning around they saw Vincent standing at the door. His eyes were filled with pure anger and his dangerous aura surrounded the whole palace. Pack wolves, even the maids and some of the family members were on their knees submitting to their Alpha.

" So you think my daughter is a curse for this kingdom? My princess?" He shouted at her. You're lucky, my whole family respects you, Otherwise I would have killed you right now"

"Alpha Romanov, the birth of a child is not a coincidence, her magic is very different from our magic. I am not saying she's going to destroy us or she's dangerous, but the power she has, her magic, it's anything but normal," she said calmly

"Everything is fine Melissa, don't worry" Alpha Vincent was doing his best to convince his wife that everything was fine. But she knew something was not right, Even though Vincent had blocked his Thoughts from her, she could still feel the tension through their link.

"You should take some rest, I'll be back," he smiled and kissed baby's forehead and walked out the door.

Melissa frowned; she knew Vincent was hiding something from her. She looked at her child who was sleeping peacefully in the crib. She was the perfect mixture of her and Vincent, she still couldn't believe that she finally had a girl, it all felt like a dream. The baby was yet to be named; they have already decided the name, which would be announced in front of the whole kingdom as soon as they leave the hospital. She smiled lovingly thinking how the family will react seeing their princess for the first time, and with all those thoughts she fell asleep.

Dream...

The whole kingdom was burning in the fire, screams of people were heard everywhere. There were dead bodies all around. Melissa ran to the palace and saw that the palace was also on the fire. She shouted for her family,hoping someone could hear her. Her eyes were filled with tears. She screamed for her mate,her children yet no one heard her.

"..VINCENT...." She screamed loudly for her mate.

She was panting heavily, her eyes were closing due to exhaustion. As soon as darkness fell before her eyes she heard someone's voice

       "I AM SORRY MOM"
