Can you see me?

It was just the wind blowing around the both of them as they stared at each other for a long moment. It was as though they were answering each other's questions as they locked their gaze.

"I know," he took her hand and placed it flat on his chest. "That you lack trust in me even though you love me so much," he made sure he said this with her eyes on him.

Liliana removed her hand from his chest and looked away. Tristan sighed and pushed himself to sit. "Should I also massage your hair too?" He asked.

"No," she simply answered staring into space. She tried to put together everything they'd shared to know if he loved her but didn't want to admit it yet. But no matter how much she tried to put together the good things about him, she couldn't get the thought of him being her parents' murderer.

But wait, if he killed her parents and wanted to kill her too back then, was there perhaps something about him coming to live with her?
