"I thought you had replaced me," I looked down to my hands as Pa looked at me questionably.

"Replaced you? How on earth would I do that?" his scrunched his nose in confusion. 

"One of Ma's friends last year said she saw you with your wife-"

"My wife?" he exclaimed and recoiled slightly. 

"Yeah," I nodded, "Your wife and your baby boy."

"Baby boy?" the news seemed to shock him completely as his lips parted and his eyebrows furrowed. "I ain't got no wife and baby boy. I got a partner but I ain't going to get married anytime soon."

That surprised me as I looked at him with a pout, "and the baby?"

"Bilbob, I'm fifty years old. I ain't got no time to be having babies and chasing them around. Your Ma and I had you, you exhausted me enough for a lifetime and I was in my twenties back then."

My face flushed incredibly red as I looked at him with a pout, "so you ain't got no baby?"
