"Do you want any snack?" I gently lifted my lips off his forehead before I kissed him again.
He looked up to me with his bloodshot and swollen eyes from crying. His face was still flushed from the bath and I could see the exhaustion in his eyes. "A fruit bowl would be nice."
"Do you want anything specific?" I smiled before I kissed his lips.
"Anything but apples, they make me gassy these days," he sighed like it was the biggest inconvenience in his life. From there he laid down as he hugged a pillow.
"Okay meu coração," I nodded before I covered him with the light blue quilt, closed the door so I did not make any noise for him then walked down the stairs.
It was like Pedro had a camera on me because my phone instantly rang once I had climbed down the stairs, "Hello."
