There was a gentle knock on my door which broke me out of my crying fit. I had to clear my throat before I rasped out, "If it's you Benedito I'll kill you."
"It's Pedro, Bobby," I heard him chuckle on the other side of the door.
"You can come in."
The door opened up a second later and I could already smell the bacon as Pedro came in holding a tray. "I made you some breakfast so you can drink your medication," he placed it down on the small table before he turned around with a small smile which instantly fell when he saw my face. "Oh Bobby."
Just the pity in his voice made me break down all over again as I waved my arms around, "He broke my heart."
