I watched the sun rise as I sat out by the balcony in my room. An empty pack of cigarettes sat on the side table next to me with an empty bottle of wine. The alcohol and nicotine had long left my body but it did not help the heart ache at all.
I could see the house far in the distance and I wished I could see Bobby walk down to me, but I knew the chances were slim.
It had been a whole week since I had last seen him and I feared this had become my routine. I would drink until I could barely feel then smoke the entire night. By the time the sun rose I would finally go to bed once the house started to become active. I could not face anyone. Even though my cousins, my sister and my friends tried to make me feel better I just could not snap out of it.
